my baby is lactose intolerant and drinks good start soy formula, are there side effects on the babies stomach

I dont think so but I dont know a lot about it. If your doc said to give it to the baby it should be safe. They wouldnt make it if it wasnt

Your doctor can help with this, but experience tells me a good tell tell sign is when they throw up or spit up heavily after eating..also pretty cranky.

no. otherwise these formula will not be approved. A lot of babies have used it and there are no complains about it as of this time

my son had problems digesting milk products that came from my b___st milk, the doctor recognised it from white dots of milk found in my sons nappy. He said that this was a sign that the milk was not being broken down by his digestive system

I'd try giving the baby some water,the soy formula,and some juice for nutrition!

i would NOT offer juice to a baby under 6 months. no way. especially if the baby is already having problems with allergies. check out KellyMom.com there is some wonderful information about lactose, soy, and other feeding issues. i hope you find some good info.

I was diagnosed allergic to milk as a infant, and fed soy products instead.... I like to think I'm ok.... Actually, soy products can be beneficial...

I dont know for sure but i think my baby might be lactose intolerant so im gonna go take him to the doctor and get that checked out, i hope it wont cost too much for soy milk,im a really young mom....
