I just feed my newborn b___st milk I tried giving him cereal really watered down by my b___st milk to see if he would sleep longer at night but it didn't work.

formula milk or b___st milk is the only thing your baby needs until about 4 to 6 months when you can start weaning your baby onto solids

I was told to b___st feed the baby as long as you can to ensure it's immune system will work properly for later on. But personally, right now, I am preg. and don't have the baby yet. What I am thinking is, not more than 6 Months b___st feeding, but I'll see when the time comes of course, we don't always have the choice anyways, right??

Breastmilk is the best infant food. Formula is immitation b___stmilk. They can't even get close to making a good subst_tute for b___stmilk. Like Maureen says, b___stmilk has immune system boosters, but that's not all. It has lots of things that aren't in formula, like amino acids that contribute to brain development. The more you learn about the benefits of b___stmilk, the longer you are going to want to nurse. Find the book "The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding". It has all the information you need to make an intelligent decision. Maureen, you do always have a choice. Unless you have had b___st surgery where the milk ducts have been damaged or removed. Breastmilk is always the number one thing, followed by b___stmilk. Thats pretty much all they can have until their around 6 months old. And they can't have cows milk until they're a year old.
