I met my fiance 7 years ago. I was 16 and he was 19. My parents had a tornado hit our house and he came to do the landscaping repair. He was (and is) a stud; driving his Camero, with his nice tan, muscular bod, and blonde hair! :) Anyways, we started talking and started dating on again off again until 4 years ago he asked me to be exclusive and we moved into a house together. We got engaged and had Ellie and are planning to get married in October.

I worked with Jadyns father for 2 years before we ever even spoke. He was the office "hottie" and had a reputation of being the "jump em and dump em" guy so I stayed away. Then we downsized and I became his boss! Since I thought he was an a__s from the stories I heard, I treated him like total c___p when he started asking me out but he kept coming back for more and eventually I gave in and let him take me out (but I kept telling myself I would never find him interesting). Surprisingly I had so much fun and he was a perfect gentleman. Needless to say, he had to transfer out of my department before we could continue the relationship but we had a few secret dates which were fun. Because of his rep, everyone in the office said it would never last and told me I was setting myself up for heartbreak. 5 years later, he is no longer with the company but I am and they all get to eat their words as they see the picture frames of us on my desk and take turns holding our beautiful 7 month old daughter :-) Of course NOW everyone says how we are such a cute couple and were destined to be together.....

I met my husband at Kmart. He worked in the bakery and I was a cashier. He started coming through my line every night, waiting behind people with full shopping carts, just to buy a pack of gum or cigarettes. He finally asked for my number and I wrote it on the back of his receipt (he has saved it all these years). Oh, Rachel, when you were talking about stinky customers...if you think they're bad at a bank, you ought to try a liquor store...that's what I was doing last year when I was pregnant, and there were a couple of customers I had to get my coworker to wait on, because if I got near them I'd puke.

I met my dh at church almost 8yrs ago when I was 21. He was only 18. We worked on some fun-raising projects together and became pretty close friends. He made me laugh like no one else did but I never thought to pursue anything bc he was younger than me. I thought that I was too good for someone that young. I went through a string of c___ppy, two minute relationships bf I realized he was the one. He was such a nice guy that I was scared to be with him. I was used to being with idiots. When I was about 24, I was head over heels for him, but still acted like I only saw him as a friend. Well, a lot transpired over time and in 2001, he made this big production over asking me to be his girlfriend. He performs music and after his performance, over the mic in front of about 50 people, he asked me to be his girlfriend. Dated for 2yrs bf we slept together and the rest is history. We were married in March 2004 and had Danny Aug of this year.

I was a waitress in a little cafe and he came in one night with his cousin. I noticed the two of them right away, tall blonde Danish guys, both 6'9"!! I thought my husband was gorgeous, I knew then and there I wanted him! He came back a few times, and then one day (St.Paddy's Day in fact) he came in, and sat at the counter for my whole entire 8 hour shift! I kind of put 2 and 2 together, and when my shift was over we went out and drank our faces off together and knew it just couldn't end.

My 2 best friends met Henk after he had moved in the same city.They thought right away that he and me would be a great match so they set us up.I liked him,but had just broken up with my boyfriend (THAT is a story) and he had just broken up with his girlfriend too!! So we decided to just "hang out" with our friends.I was working on a cruiseboat at that time and it was time for me to get back.Couple months later I met him in the clothing store he used to work and he asked me out on a date.I accepted and went home,fell asleep and woke up at 4:00AM.I had missed the date.Following week I went to his job and apologised and asked himfor a second chance.We went out that weekend and i had the best time.I really got to know him then.When he kissed me later that night it was something I had never felt before.I felt lightheaded and I can't explain....when i looked in his eyes i saw the same..It felt like i found my soulmate.We have been together almost 9 years now...and i am still sooooo in love...Now when i look at Jesse (our 4 month old son) I see Henks eyes and my nose and mouth and ...he is just a perfect blend from my husband and me.Best feeling in the world.

I met my dh in Highschool. We were just friends, then became friends with benefits, now we are married (8 amazing years).... to make a long story short!

I was 15 when i just saw my DH and always wished to marry him but i never seen him since then..we were from different states and after 3 years my parents met him suddenly and he saw me and fell in love with me..my parents liked him too..then he proposed me and we just had our 1st aniversery and our 1st son..

My story is boring, but rated G and shortened for you all. We met at a NYE party going into 2002. I was getting divorced at the time so I wasn't really looking for someone to date seriously, but just to get back into the dating life. Well, after a few detours and wrong turns, we ended up getting engaged in March 2004, and were married last November.

We are both from the same state (Arkansas) and I was in 9th grade he had just graduated highschool. We had a school conference in another state (California) and just happened that we both went from our schools. He would talk to me and I could never remember that I had spoken with him the day before. I played softball at his highcschool so that was something we had in common. We were in Cali for a week and after that we emailed back and forth then lost touch and one day he emailed me out of the blue and the rest is history. We were together all through my highschool and his college and here we are today... 5 1/2 years

Mine is pretty funny now. My husband was my upstairs neighbor. When he first moved in I hated him. Needless to say.. my roommate at the time started dating his sister so we all began to hang out. One night after 6 too many drinks I kissed him. 2 months later we were living together and got married 6 months after that.

Well ... we used match.com. We were 100% compatible based on the survey. We IM for a while then talked on the phone and finally a couple of weeks later we had a first date. We both knew that same night that we were going to stay together forever. A week later after amazing s_x I asked him to marry me someday, and he said yes. He asked me to move in a week after that, and I did. That was 3 years ago. We are now married and have a month old baby boy. he is my soulmate, I have no doubts about it. :)
