Well, I was not on the pill at all. I was on "oh I think that I am invincible ". Well, I wasn't. I was on the pill and when it was time for to get some more, I didn't go to my gyn bc I knew that I would need a pap smear, and I hate those. Took a hpt, it came out positive and I turned into an old southern baptist woman. I clutched my heart, looked up to the sky and said (in a southern accent), "Lord Jesus, Lord Jesus, What did I do, What did I do". Yup, thats my life story and now you know it.

Jaime, are you wondering if you're pregnant? I'm having pregnancy symptoms this month but I had my tubes tied in August. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that AF comes when due tomorrow...and my legs crossed till DH has a vasectomy.

I got pregnant with Amaya while on the pill, I am not trying to scare you (if you are thinking you are prego) but I had not missed 1 pill and had never changed the time of day or on any medicine or anything. It was just meant to be!

yep, I'm wondering if my birth control didn't necessarily protect as well as it should have. I'm gonna give it til Monday before I test, though.

I wasn't on the pill when I conceived, but my best friend was. She never missed on either, so Big Surprise to them! How are you feeling about the possibility? When was AF due?

AF is due today. I think it's too soon for another baby...this one's only 4 months! But, if I got pg while bfing and on bc, then I spose it's meant to be.

I got pregnant on the pill. I took me the same amount of time to find out as with a regular pregnancy. I did stop taking the pill when I thought I was pregnant. I talked to my doctor about it and he said there there is nothing that prooves that the pill can harm the unborn baby/fetus. I hope that it all works out for you!

Oh!! I never missed a day taking it and I was never late taking it. My doc also said that if you take the pill religiously as some will say, it is still only 97% effective!

I also wasn't on the pill, I was on the same thing TC was on... I got symptoms really fast, but still didnt think i was pregnant I thought it was all in my head. My period was due on a friday, by that point i was feeling nauseas, and light headed but thought i was just going to come down with something, by the next friday when it was a week late i was getting really nauseas and getting dry heaves and just feeling kind of weird, then monday came and i started throwing up, so i took a pg test (10 days after my period was due) and it came out positive. My aunt use to take the pill every day, at the same time and she still became pg, but was still getting periods for 3 mo.

Jamie, I got pregnant last time while on birth control too (diaphragm), not to scare you but that's the truth! On the lighter side, I seriously think my little guy was really meant to be (I know, they all kind of are! but...) because he is the light of my life, so easy, happy and grounding. So, I think if you are pregnant it will be a good thing! Keep us posted!

Maybe I'm being too nosey, but have you already had AF after only having your baby 4 months ago? If so, that was fast! :)

I was on bc and i now have a 2 1/2 month old. Took me 5 1/2 months to find out:S. I stopped taking it when i found out. p.s. never missed a day on it.
