That's a new one. My kids doc always said push greens from the beginning of solid foods. Why didn't he give you an explanation?

Spinach has a high level of nitrates and infants < 6 months lack a stomach acidity that can handle spinach. Two years seems excessive. I would ask someone else....

Yeah, I agree with everyone else. I never heard of that.

It came up when I realized they did not make any baby food containing spinach.. they also don't make any with broccoli..
