i think my baby is teething. He's started drooling, there's small white spots (2)on his lower front gum. he's so fussy. started only like a week ago and he's abt 3mth and a week old. he keeps putting his hand in his mouth recently that i think it caused a mild diarrhoea. he's lost appet_te( cos of the diarrhoea?) what do i do?? What happen when your baby was teething?

Sounds like he is teething. Has all the signs. He is running a mild fever. If he is give him some infant motrin. He is young to start teething, but I have hears of 3 months old teething. Don't worry...you have many of these days ahead of you. My daughter got her bottom teeth first.

oh no... how long does it take from the first signs of teething til the actual 'eruption' of the teeth? He seems really uncomfortable. His diarrhoea is gone but now he has started comfort sucking on the b___st. Not drinking but just latched on.

Usually a month or so til they really break the surface. Some days his gums wont bother him at all and other days will be bad days, specially once they really cut through the gums. My daughter is teething right now...ugh! She is 13 months old. Hang in there!
