My Dr is doing an Amnio on Friday. I will be almost 38 weeks. He is going on vacation and I am measuring large. He wants to check to make sure the lungs are developed and if they are he is inducing on Sat. I had my other at 37 1/2 weeks and he was fine. Does anyone know how often the lungs are completely developed at almost 38 weeks.??? And how the amnion tests see that??
I am so ready to have this baby, but I just want to know the probability of having it Sat so I can plan accordingly.

i feel for you! I am going through the same thing! I had an amnio last week at 37 weeks, the babies lungs werent developed, now i am having another one tomorrow! I hear they should be developed at 37 weeks but i guess everyone is different! good luck!
