my daughter in law called frrom the hospital and says she has beta strip. Can any tell what that is. They won't induce her till it's better and she is really scared. Please help me calm her down.

iv never heard of that but the closest to it is strep b its a bacteria in ya v____a 2-11%of pregnant women get it it dosent usually cause problems or sympotoms but untreated can be bad for the baby i hope this helps and is the same thing u were asking about

Yes it is and thank you for replying. Our granddaughter was born at 9:00 A.M. this morning weighing in at 8 lbs 4 oz. 21" long and very healthy. Once again thank you.

My daughter which is now (14) was born with Beta Strip and she was in and out of the hospital, for no reason the side of her neck would swell up. She was hospitalized 3 times as an infant up to 8 mths. They stated she would need surgery on the 4th time and since then we have had no problem with this. I was not diagnosed with this condition. She will soon be 15. Just hang in there, prayers are for you
