Bulging Bag Of Water At 36 Weeks

Hi,
I'm pregnant with my first. I'm at 36 weeks and my doctor told me I'm
1 cm dilated, 80 % effaced and my bag of waters is bulging. Baby is also
Breech. She says I could go into labor any second and that I need to
get to hospital ASAP if I do. But I'm wondering if anyone has ever
gone a week or so in my situation. Im hoping to get to 37 weeks.
Thoughts? Insight? Similar Experience would be very much appreciated.

Hiya i had the same with both of my girls my first was born at 34 weeks and weighed 6lb 8oz and was healthy and came home within 4 days my second was born at 36 weeks and weighed 7lb 3oz and came home 7 hours later. i was told to get to hospital asap which worried me, but you dont need to worry the extra water makes labour easy. my labour with my first was half an hour long and second labour 1 and a half hours, i think the tell you to get there to protect themselves
dont worry and enjoy the rest you wont have much time to after the baby comes do you know what you are having ? good luck
