Could I Have Had My Bloody Show

I am 38 weeks pregnant with my first child, I have been having leg cramps, some stomach and back aches all week and some irregular contractions about 3 days ago. Today I went to my ob appointment and got checked for dilation. I am currently not dilated and the baby still hasn't dropped. About 7 hours after I had my exam I went to the bathroom and noticed that I had a little string of pink blood tinged mucus on the tp. I have been losing my mucus plug for about 3-4 weeks now so the mucus isn't anything I'm not used to. After that happened I started getting some cramp like aches in my legs and stomach again but nothing that is regular enough to be contractions or anything. Could this have been my bloody show or just blood from the exam? I would think if it was from my exam it would have happened a lot sooner after I had it rather than 7 hours later. Also, about how much bloody mucus will come out when I do have my show, I have heard a lot to very little.
