The very top of my uterus (fundus) is really sore, I am measuring 42cms now and I'm wondering if it's sore because it is so stretched? Also my cervix is really sore too, last night I woke up just about crying because it is so sore! I don't know what is going on and when I called the on-call doc she said maybe the baby's fingers are above her head and that i should fill up my bladder and crawl around to change her position, that didn't work. I've been having contractions, but few and far apart, ladies does this sound normal at all?

how far apart are the contractions? good luck

they are about 30, 20, 10, minutes apart but only for a couple hours then they go away completely.

maybe your body is getting ready for labor. is this your first?

probably since this is your first its not used to be stretched. when its your first it has to do more stretching then lets say if its your 2nd. hope this helps

I am doing the same thing contraction wise. 2 days ago woke up and thought it was time..... nope. This is my third. I would not crawl.... I would just keep changing positions.... Crawling hurts me. Adds more pressure. I am 38 weeks and researching natural ways to induce. My hubby is not happy with that. God Bless... everything will be fine.

I have the same pains, i am 37 weeks....i have no idea what it is, but it hurts for most of the day, specially after i eat. I guess it could be related to so much stretching. I am also experiencing pains in my cervix, particularly when the baby moves around...it almost cripples me!! This is my 5th baby, but its been 10 years since my last pregnancy, i can't recall if i had the same pains with the other pregnancies. I am hoping this baby comes a bit early....not sure if i can tolerate any more discomfort!
