Hi, I'm currently 37 weeks and 3 days. As of last thursday I started the real contractions and drs said that I was 1 cm dilated. Is it wrong to try and induce labor now ? I also lost a white stringy glob when I wiped mysellf Friday night could that be part of all of my mucus plug ? And is using castor oil in my situation alright this is my first baby so I'm very new at all of this. Please help to the best of your ability .

You may have already had your baby being this post is a few days old. But, I think it is best to let nature take its course, unless your Dr. feels there is a reason for induction. I know pretty much anything you try will not work unless your body is ready. I know a couple of people who did the castor thing and they just ended up with really bad diarrhea and cramps but no real contractions. Really it is up to you but I wouldn't do it.
