How Soon Will Labor Start

I went to see my doctor on Monday, Dec. 20 and she told me that I was 1cm and 95% effaced. Typically, how long after that do you go into labor? I don't think baby has dropped yet and I have had no bloody show. I am ready to get the show on the road. The only labor symptoms that I have had is a dull, low back ache for two days.

It could be tomorrow, it could a week or more, there is no way of telling, it all happens when the baby/your body is ready, unless you are induced.

Misty..how far along are you?...you can be 1 cm dialated for months before delivery..though 95% effaced sounds like you are close...though Dec 20th was two weeks ago...how is everything going?..the baby may not drop until you are actually in labor..and you do not have to have any sort of show before labor either...dull, low back ache could be the starts of early labor...but it could be all the extra weight your carrying around..and she/he maybe dropping slowly making it hard to notice...but putting more weight on your lower body parts...good luck to you and come back and tell us how it went..
