Ok you say your a midwife so you should be able to help me...I am currently 32 weeks tomorrow (third), when I was about 18 weeks I had a sonogram (had to have an operation to have large cyst removed at 3 months so I had a few early on), anyways they said at 18 weeks that I had a marginal placenta previa..which I guess means that the placenta was lying close to the cervical opening but not covering...so my doc told me not to worry and that they would check it again at 32 weeks...Here I am now at 32 weeks, but when I went to see her and asked her about a sonogram she said not to worry about it that she would be able to tell when she did my check up in a few weeks...I dont see how that is possible since she cannot see inside my uterus without a sonogram...should I ask for a second opinion..or bug her about another sonogram?...I'm worried...what if my placenta is lower? shouldnt she be a little more concerned than that?...Thanks for the advice in advance.
