Stopping Procardia XL

I'm currently 35 weeks and 5 days pregant. When I was 33 weeks I went into pre-mature labor, but the hospital gave me Procardia (along with other medications and shots while at the hospital) to stop the contractions. I talked with my doctors about stopping the medication at 37 weeks, because that's considered full term. They are okay with that. My question is, does anyone know about how long after I stop the Procardia will the contractions come back and maybe I will go into labor again? Or will it do nothing at all? I'm ready to have this baby, I'm so uncomfortable nowadays, can't sleep much, can't eat much, it's driving me nuts! But I'm still planning on waiting until I'm 37 weeks before stopping the medication, because I'd rather my son be born after 37 weeks rather than 36 weeks, even though the hospital gave me 2 steroid shots to help mature his lungs. I hope someone has some answers for me. THanks.
