I am 40 weeks and 3 days. I am 3.5 cm dilated and about 75% effaced. The baby is high and the cervix is still up. I have an induction scheduled in 3 days. How common is it to deliever within the week after your due date? I am so wanting to do this without an induction. My first was induced at 36 weeks and it was exhausting.

Remember that there is no predicting when labor will occur. It happens when the baby/your body is ready or when you get induced.
