Am I Experiencing Early Labor Signs

I am 35 weeks along. I had a small amount of brownish discharge 2 days ago,and yesterday at my doc. appt he said my cervix is closed but thinning.I also have dropped 2 lbs in less than a week. Ive had Braxton Hicks all day long today.Isnt the weight drop right before labor starts? How soon after the weight drop did everyone go into labor?

When I was 34 wks I experienced the same thing, I am now 38 wks and am going to be induced on the 16th. You can have all the signs that labor is comming and nothing happen for weeks. If you are worried go get checked out, but other wise it is just a waiting game. luv momo xx

With my first child I was dilated to 2 centimeters @ about 36 weeks, At 38 weeks I was dilated to 3, And I had my daughter 3 days before my due date.
