I am 32+ weeks just now with my 2nd baby, i took the tea with my first pregnancy at 36weeks and went into labour 6days early with what i can now say was a great delivery,i'm sure this was all help to the tea. My friend took it recently and only had a 2 & a half hr labour.

HI all, I drank rasberry leaf tea for my first pregnancy 3x a day from 27 weeks and had my baby at 38 weeks. I am doing the same now, I am up to week 35 and have not had any BH contractions or pain.

I am officially turning 39 weeks at midnight, I am just this second trying this tea. It took me about a week to find it, and finally I found it earlier today. Some stores stopped selling it because they said that a lot of women were abusing it to go onto labor even before their baby was considered full term. I think that is VERY DANGEROUS. I was almost scared to drink this tea, but I said what the heck, I'll give it a try. Even if it doesn't send me into labor, at least I know it also tones the uterus for pain and has other great benefits, as well. I'll holla if i should suddenly go into labor after drinking this tea.

I hav e heard from friends that it is really good. I take it in tablet form (available from health food shops) as I dont really like strange flavoured teas. Thought I should point out though that it is infact raspberry LEAF and not raspberrys that are beneficial.

i'VE NOW BEEN DRINKING THIS TEA FOR THE PAST THREE DAYS, AND NOTHING AT ALL HAS HAPPENED. THE FIRST CUP I DRANK CAUSED A COUPLE OF CONTRACTIONS, BUT THAT WAS IT. THE ONLY ITHING THAT IT'S DOING FOR ME IS KEEPING ME IN THE BATHROOM, AND IT DOESN'T TASTE ALL THAT BAD LIKE OTHERS SAY. MY DUE DATE IS IN 6 DAYS, AND MAYBE THAT'S WHEN MY LITTLE MIRACLE WILL DECIDE TO GRACE MY HUSBAND AND I WITH HIS PRESENCE.

I've researched that you can take Raspberry Leaf all through your pregnancy, it won't bring on labour but tone your uterus. I'm just not sure whether to take tablets, tea or tincture.... Here's a link to check out: http://drclarkia.com/red_raspberry.asp

I'm at 38 weeks and have been drinking it 2-3 times daily for a week, and nothing.... not even getting remote labor signals!!!!! I don't know. I don't think it can hurt, and I REALLY doubt it could cause a miscarriage. AND Dee, its my first too, and i'm right with you!!!! I think this is a normal feeling...

hi - November 17

Rasberry leaf tea does not induce labor, just strengthens you, to help you when labor does come, a lot of women who are at risk of miscarriage in early pregnancy drink the tea to help strengthen the uterus.

lisa - November 18

i drank it from 33 weeks, and had a three hour labour only

Ash - November 18

I dunno about that, I took caster oil!! I took it at 9pm and by 3am I was at the hospital in labor, he was born 9:59am

I think a lot of you think that the tea brings on labour - it only tones the uterus to help give you an easier one. Good Luck!
