if you have an epidural does it mean that you must remain lying down all through the labor? can you mave around just a little? ie stand, squat?

i had an epidural last week with my little one i was scared to get one with my first and i was in so much pain but with this one i didnt have any pain but i didnt wanna move i just layed i didnt feel any thing but i did move a little and nothing happen to me and they didnt say i couldnt

no - you wont be able / allowed to stand or squat once the epidural is started. You will still be able to feel, but for safety reasons you can see why they wouldn't let you stand. The effects wont last much past the delivery and you can get up and walk to the bathroom in most cases fairly quickly after the birth.
