I'm 36 weeks I'm expereincing slight contractions, some period like pains and back discomfort, my babys head is very low, I dont know if I'm dilated, could there be something happening

Your getting close, I would say that you are probably having more intense Braxton Hicks contractions...you really dont want to go before 37weeks at least...though the baby can be born fine before then...safer to hold out...good luck to you the baby will come when ready...

hi, im 39 weeks pregnant and have been feeling what your feeling for a few weeks now, and i can actually say pains and braxton hicks have become less intense so it coulkd mean anything. im infact worried because i feel the baby moving but i do not have strong braxton hicks or anyother pain as such.

hiya tracy iv been having the same pains as u since i was 32 weeks as i went in to prem labour but the hostpital stoped me im now 38 wks and have been getting the bac pain the very strong b/hs i had my midwife come and see me last night as id been in pain all day with reg contractions but wen she checked me over she said i was 1 to 2 cm dilated and 80% effaced iv got up this morning with the same pains just nothing is happening as such i would say u r doin the same as me and i would nip and get checked out just to see if u have dilated any , also have u had a show yet and are ur contractions getting closer together and stronger ? i hope this helps u let me know how u get on .
