can someone please put my mind and curiosity at ease and describe what its like when your water breaks. is it like a huge gush of water, a slight trickle or like a steady flow like when your peeing???

it can be either. Most women think they are urinating at first, until they realize it can't be controlled. This usually happens when you are in labor already, but occasionally, it is the first sign labor has begum. It feels warm, and should be clear.

with my second i had a small tear in the bag of waters, it felt a little like i was peeing but i couldn't control it and it was kinda slimey feeling. when my water was broken in the hospital (a true rupture) it was a huge gush.
