I am six weeks pregnant and for a little over a week I have occasionally noticed either pink or light brown discharge on the toilet paper. It seems to be mixed with a thick,white mucous type discharge. Has anyone else experienced this? My doctor sent me for blood tests today, but I wont get the results until tomorrow. thanks in advance

last week i started to bleed a little and have the brown discharge at 9 weeks i went to the hospital thinking i was having a miscarriage they did a whole bunch of tests and i found out a couple of things, the brown blood is old blood and the reason i was bleeding was because i had a couple of busted capillaries next to the placenta the baby is fine the heart rate is good and the doctor just told me to take it easy and to watch it, but i've heard that spotting during early pregnancy is completely normal as long as you're not having bad cramps, bleeding profusely or have clots coming out then you should be fine the only reason i went in was because there was a clot that came out i am no professional but i really don't think you have anything to worry about. i think all my friends with kids spotted during their 1st trimester with at least one of their children
