Hi, my sister-in-law passed two blood clots when she was 6 weeks pregnant. The utrsound showed that the fetus is still alive and the clot was from the placenta. There was slight bleeding for few days but now it has stopped. she is now 8 weeks pregnant. She has low-lying placenta. Did anyone had such problem. I am trying to find out if the pregnancy can continue. More than that I am bit worried about the fetus. Can the passing of blood clot cause any abnormality in the fetus. Please, please I need some help in this matter as I am not able to get enough information from the net.
