Enlarged Head Ventricle On Ultrasound

I am 37 weeks pregnant and at my last u/s, my doctor found that my son's right ventricle in his head is slightly enlarged. Since then I have had one more u/s and the Dr. says that it did not get bigger, which is a good sign, but it also did not go away. He said that there is a chance that my son may have an abnormality or that he is perfectly ok. I want to hear about anyone who may have had a similar experience in this and how everything turned out. I will love my son regardless, but the stress is really getting to me.

i know it feels awful to think of something wrong, esp at ur stage of pregnancy, but if i was u i wouldent be to worried as doctors told my sister that her son had a growth on his head, it turned out to be a cyst and went away a few days after he was born, i read up about it and it turns out it is very common in unborn babies and is usualy nothing to worry about and has no side effects and does not cause brain damage, i hope its nothing more then that for ur baby. good luck and let us know how u get on.
