hi i had an abdominal u/s on this tuesday which showed yolk sac of 5 weeks and 5days and measured 10mm.actually i am 5 weeks and 3 days.after reading the posts in the forum i am quite scared.the doctor didn't mention even a word about heartbeat.he said everything was fine.can we see a heartbeat only through transva___al u/s.not throught abdominal one.how do all doctor's see a heartbeat is it through va___al u/s.i am very worried

I think even with the transv____al u/s it can be hard to see it depending on how the baby is positioned and where you are at in the pregnacy. I was reading other stories on here and some don't see the heartbeat until even later with the transv____al or abdominal. My DR likes doing transv. in the first 8 weeks at least.I saw a little flutter at 7 weeks with mine-BUT keep reading-everybody is different and things can be fine! Did you tell your DR your concern? Ask for one for your next appt. or if you cant wait, call and ask if you can be seen sooner. Hang in there.
