I have a history of miscarriages my last one in Feb. followed with a d&c. I have been pregnant since May (to the best of my knowledge due to symptoms), test kept coming up neg. until a few weeks ago at Dr. office got pos. and he verified my cervix was closed. He referred me to OB, pee test and blood test came neg, told me I had a false pos., I don't believe it because this is my 4th pregnancy and these are new Dr I have never seen before (new ins.) Next Dr did the hcg blood count, it came out 0 hcg. She told me no your not pregnant. Of course these doctors are stupid. My first miscarriage I went to hospital, the blood test was 0 hcg he said I was not pregnant (obviously stupid) I later had water break and past fetus still in sac. Worst experience of my life. 2nd m/c came out as tissue, 3rd m/c was in feb u/s showed no fetus and said I had a tilted uterus which makes it hard to read u/s, he suggested d&c. I did it because the 1st m/c was so bad I did not want to go through it again. Is it possible to continue this pregnancy with 0 hcg level? I am going to have an u/s, but I know it's hard to get a good view due to my tilted uterus. I still feel preg. cramping, I was bleeding for 2 days and it stopped, some clear fluid came out after that, but I have not passed any tissue. Also, everytime I get pregnant and start prenatal vitamins, I start feeling weird and sick to my stomach (yes I take it after food). I think the iron in the pills make me sick and maybe causes me to miscarry as well as my other health factors. I stopped the pills and wondering if anyone has some insight.

Taking prenatal vitamins does not cause miscarriage-if they did the company's would be sued to kingdom come!!! The amount of iron in the pills is carefully measured to be appropriate for a woman who is pregnant. trust me your prenatals did not cause you to miscarry. I do not feel an HCG levels indicates a pregnancy that can continue (or even a pregnancy for that matter!) I am very sorry for all you have been through.
