I was told by my nurse that my dr. found through some cultures, that I had Chlamydia. I have taken the prescribed antibiotic, and am worried that even though I am only 5 months, that this will effect my unborn child. I am praying that it won't, but can someone please help me!

something similar happened to me, they found bacteria in my urine and after a culture it came back positive for an infection. My doctor prescribed antibiotics of course, and believe me i was so worried that i did not want to take them.. i did my research on the antibiotic and also on how the infection would affect the pregnancy... i came to the conclusion that i had to take them.... remember you can cause more harm to yourself and the baby by not taking them..one little infection can become worse..i am also in my 5th month and i know what you are going through.. i just finished the antibiotics, feel much better and the baby is doing fine..
Your doctor wouldn't give you something that will affect the pregnancy.. if you still have doubts do some research, go to drugs.com and you will get all the info that you require...again almost 90% of the time you can do more harm to yourself and the baby by not taking the medicine.
