Lower Back And Abdominal Aches

I am 41 yrs old and 17 weeks pregnat with my 4th baby. Since the outset of this pregancy, I have suffered lower back and abdominal aches, which seem worse on some days than others. Having previously suffered an ectopic pregnancy, blighted ovum and a miscarriage at +- 8 weeks, I am naturally paranoid about every twinge. According to the Dr, it is the pressure of the baby and the release of Relaxin that is causing this, according to my husband, it is "old age"! Has anyone else suffered these symptoms?
