could it just be in and out of air conditioning and humidity that could account for bloody noses?

Oh my god nO! I started getting bloody noses to and my doctor told me it is my hormones. It is horrible. You have to learn to live with it. Buy some Ocean Mist nasal spray and you can take Benadryl if your nose gets stuffy. Vicks helps too.
