You know, that one lady was RUDE!! Just because she isn't having any problems right now doesn't mean she won't later! I would really like to hear her thoughts if she did end up with problems! And maybe she won't. But you all were right by saying that this forum is for people experiencing these problems, and if they weren't they wouldn't even be here talking in the first place!! What in the world was she doing on a site that's for MALFUNCTIONING IUD's when she's advocating it? This makes no sense to me and sounds a little sketchy.

first and foremost I have had 4 miscarriages before successfuly carrying a pregancy to term, including one at 19 weeks so I understand loss! secondly I came to this web site to see if I could get advise about conceiving after an IUDl. I came to PREGNANCY-INFO.NET not IUDPROBLEMS.NET this forum was the only forum that had ANYTHING to with pregnancy and IUDS. so for all u ladies with ur panties in a twist CHILL OUT, the post was meant for women like me who stumble upon this forum and thought "geez, these women r really making a good thing sound bad" I was simply giving a second side to the story and informing people who might get this forum while doing research to see if they wanted in IUD for themselves. PS this site gives people the freedom to say what they want about the disscussion, and I never chastized ANYONE for not liking in nor did I undermind there pain and suffering I can apprecaite their situation and would never want to be faced with a desicion like theirs. As for they way every took it it just goes to show ya that people r way to definsive when it comes to them SELVES. I feel for Lori and all the others, what I dont like is how people a__sume they know what I have been through and How I meant what I said. get off ur high horse and read people the post said that I was trying to create a SILVER LINING for people who were reading this not that I think anything of any one or their problems. Give me a break this whole thing is a joke!

Honey you need to get a life this is not a site you need to put a silver lining on.. You dont need to come on here and tell us how to make things sound. There is no good way to put what we are going through.. WHY WOULD ANY ONE COME ON THIS THATS THE POSTINGS WHERE GOING TO BE DISING THE IUD> I am sorry but if you were going to ask about your iud you should have stated that but you didnt you made a scene you made your bed lay in it.. It makes me so mad you would say all them things.. You come on here and dis us for saying bad things about the iud.. Well hate to tell you its the truth and its us who it has happened to not you get off of your horse honey you must not have any sympothy!

By the way the iud put me on the horse.. I didn't ask to loose my baby! Take a hint everyone on this board is I am sure offended by your post. It makes mad because all these women come here its is the only place we all have got to go if you haven't noticed. No one wants to hear someones views on how the iud is so great.. There so many boards to praise it let us have our one board!!

I am soo confused. I've had my Mirena for 18 months now and thought that it was the best thing in the world. I've have irregular periods the past 4 months, but thought nothing of it, heck, I had an IUD. This morning, I started bleeding very heavily, pa__sing small clots. I put in a call to my ob/gyn and missed her call TWICE today, so here I am wanting to know what is going on. The bleeding as subsided and I don't know if it will come back. I KNOW that this could not be my regular menstral cycle so what could it be? I had an old hpt, so I took it at lunch...positive. The htp expired 12/04. What do you think?

I cant tell you for sure but defintley go to the doctor. I had my period and 2 weeks afterwards starting bleeding pretty heavy and clotting I went to the gyn to find out my iud was coming out of place and I was pregnant.. Just let us know what goes on with you ok.. If you need to talk my emails are above in the other postings.. I am always online

hey ladies, i just went and saw my dr. and we talked abut me getting the IUD in place. i have a 1 1/2 and 3 year old and and 22 (now). i wanted my tubes tied when i had the lst one but my dr. said that i was too young. after reading all of your stories there is NO WAY i am getting the IUD. i guess i am better of just not having s_x with my husband..lol...i hope you all find what you need, and thank you again for sharing your stories

Well...the OB nurse said to buy and try a new hpt. I did and it was positive. Now I question if the IUD is still in place. I have never been able to feel it so I am hoping for an ultrasound asap. All of the bleeding has stopped. This is just too weird. I still wonder if I m/c or the if IUD caused the bleeding and pains. Either way it is not a good sign.

Yes defintley get a ultrasound today. I did the same day i found out they couldnt see anything. I couldnt feel my strings but i have short fingers so my husband always check them and he could feel them but that does mean it couldn't have slipped or when up in you.. Update us hun I will be praying for you and hope everything comes out ok..

I was just wanting a little bit of information from all of these girls that have had pregnecys with an iud in. I have a copper IUD in for about 2 years and I have been nausated throwing up at somepoint when I smell certain foods or when I eat certain foods for about three weeks. I took a pregnacey test first response the result was postive line was very faint but I took another one and it was negative. I just started my period yesterday and it is heavier than usual about 3 times more. I am having cramps and when i stand up i feel like everything is comming out of me. I was just wandering if anyone else ever felt this way.
