well, just had another faint positive urine test at the dr. Blood work results should be back this afternoon around 4. The dr. said he has had one other patient whose surgery failed, but it was after 7 years! Can't wait to get the results, but we will have to wait till the hcg reaches 3000 before he can see where the pregnancy is. Once it reaches 3000 he said he can do a v____al ultrasound (sounds scary!!!). Anyone had this done? My husband drink a six pack of beer last night cause he was so mad. He woke me up at 3:30 this morning throwing his guts up. Serves him right!!!! He has so much anger in him. I guess i'll be a single mom of three kids (Even scarier!!!).

jenjerbre: Wow your husband sounds very unsupportive. I am sorry to hear that. But on another note, I am sitting on the edge of my seat waiting to know what your test comes up as! How exciting! I have been tied and burned for 7 years now and got pregnant once but miscarried. It would be so nice to hear a success story. God is a miracle worker and if this is in His plan for you He will work it through for you! Good luck and please keep us updated! Thanks...Lisa

The dr called and my hcg is 7. He wants to see where we are on Wednesday, so I guess it's a waiting game... Since i have returned home I have had some spotting. At first it was brown, but now it its light pink. I told the nurse and she said it could be normal. I'm worried about a miscarriage. I have never had spotting in my previous pregnancies. What is going on? I'm very confused. I'll let yall know how the blood work goes on wednesday (hopefully it doubles!!).

Now I am concerned after reading all these posts. I admit I am not late for my period, I think. I don't keep track since I had my tubal ligation June 2006. I had them cut, burned and tied. However, I am so tender lately, and urinating way too much...I am scared.

I've had similar situations. Once last year, I was 1 1/2 weeks late . I bought 1 cheap testm and one EPT (pricey). I regret my surgery.....I met someone who has no children and I never had a son. I feel that if it's meant to be it will happen.

jenjerbre, I'M the same as you. I had my tubes done in 2000, when my son was 10 months old, he's now 7. I've been wanting to have another baby since he was 2, but hubby say's no way, but I think if it was to happen he would learn to live with it. He would be very Sh**y at first but after that he will have to learn to live with it. Best of luck hope you are pregnant. Let us know.

Help! I just got my second hcg results...they went from 7 to 9 in 48 hrs. I have an appt. tomorrow. I thought they would be 0 because after the dr appt. monday i started spotting and on Tuesday i had "heavy" bleeding only when i peed. It seemed like the pressure of me peeing was pushing the blood out cause when i quit so did the blood flow (too much info.). Wednesday and today the bleeding hasn't been bad. I a__sumed i had a miscarriage. If i had a miscarriage would the numbers still rise? I know the rise isn't normal because it didn't double, so what is going on? The nurse didn't have any answers for me this morning. All she said was that it didn't sound like a normal pregnancy. I have never had any miscarriages, just 2 normal healthy pregnancys. Could my progesterone be low causing the bleeding and low hcg, or is it just wishful thinking?

davyt - February 22

I haven't had a "normal"period in months and my tubes are supposed to be tied. This afternoon I felt "movement in my stomach like a fetus was moving (and I know what it should feel like I already have 3kids). I took a pregnancy test last month and it was negative...does anyone have any advice..I sure could use some right about now. Thanx.

TotsnTwins - February 23

Jenjebre I've read that low progesterone can cause miscarriages. I've also heard of people miscarrying a twin and going on to deliver a healthy singleton. (Most pregnancies actually start as twins according to new research/theories) I'm not sure which is true in your case. If your numbers keep rising, I would a__sume that you would still be pregnant. Usually after a miscarriage they drop. I suspect I miscarried last month 3 years after my tubal. I am now on cycle day 32 for this month. The last time I went pa__sed 31 days was in August. I've been ranging around 28-31 since then. Usually 29 days. My b___sts have been tender since Monday. Usually they get a little tender the week before I start. Right now they feel swollen and achy. (Although they look quite nice LOL) I'm praying that I am indeed pregnant as I really regret my surgery now and hubby and I both would love to welcome another child into the family. I just don't want to get my hopes up though.

i am married, 37yrs old..i have 2 boys..17 and 15 yrs old. i had my tubes tied in 1991, dont know what they did to do this as i was asleep at the time. i never missed a period, until got overwieght. have then lost the wieght and been having them. have not missed one yet. 2 days ago i started feeling movement inside me, it just didnt feel like gas and etc...yes i had the other symptoms just never put them all together til now. i took a pregnancy test- walmart brand- but took it at night, came back neg. ...should it had been in the morning? and when i look in the mirror my stomach is bigger than the picture of the same side i had taken 2 months before, noticably bigger. ..i am thinking it is just in my head and afraid to go to the dr. and them think im crazy like i do hahaha...am i crazy? or could i be? i am thinking to just wait a few weeks and see for cant miss it then if i am right? i mean if i am then i am 5months along if movement like this kind im been getting... please help me.

I thought i would update yall on my crazy week! Well, my hcg started at 7 on feb 19, went to 9 on feb 21, then 11 on feb 26!! We know its definately not normal! My dr. wants another blood test on march 5. On friday he said it is begining to sound like a tubal pregnancy but he has never seen numbers this crazy! He said that normally with a tubal the numbers start out normal and then the doubling time slows down. I have no clue what mine are doing. I thought i may have miscarried because i bled heavy for a day and then it was like a normal period, but the tests keep coming up positive. I think i need a second opinion, because he hasn't even touched me- no pelvic exam, ultrasound, nothing!! He tells me that he has to check with other drs to see if they have ever seen this. Has anyone ever seen anything like this? Does this sound like a tubal pregnancy or something else? I would like to know what to expect if it is a tubal. Does anyone have any stories? I'm scared to death!

babeinthecloud - March 1

jenjerbre: Wow! What a roller coaster! It does sound rather unusual how your numbers are barley climbing. Your doctor should be doing everything to find out what is wrong..IE: Pelvic exam, Untra-sound ETC...I would get a 2nd opinion as well. As far as a tubal, I have heard of similar cases to yours where a tubal is involved. The quicker you find out if it is, the better. Not to scare you anymore than you are already, but a tubal can be very life threatening. Prompt attention is a must. If it is a tubal, and it bursts, not only is it very painful but can be deadly. Lets hope it is not that. On the other hand, like your Dr. said even with a tubal it does start off with normal numbers and tapers off and since your was different from the beginning, that makes me wonder. Pregnancy is different with every woman. Of course the Dr.s go by the "norm" but there is always room for extenuating circ_mstances that break the rules. It would be nice to see normal pregnancy come out of this for you. I love hearing stories of miracle babies! I am sorry I can't be of more help on this but maybe if nothing else it gives you a sense of urgency to get a 2nd opinion. God bless you and keep us all updated!

Hi my name is Michelle. I have three children my youngest is two. I had my tubes tide after he was born now I find myself really wanting another daughter I want a sister for my daughter to grow up with. I am 33 and we have plenty of love and room for another child in our home. We live in a nice swim and tennis community with lots of fun activites for the kids. The schools are also great here. Would you be interested in a private adoption? If not I hope that I didn't offend you and wish you all the best.

Hi a little freaked out my name is Michelle. I wouldn't worry to much for now your body could be playing tricks on you because your so scared of being pregnant. Is there no way to get the money for a pregnancy test? If your not pregnant that should put your mind at ease. If you are pregnant though are you open to a private adoption? I am 33 and have been married for 8 years. I have three children my youngest is two. I had a tubal after the last one. Now I feel that I would really like to have another little girl so my daughter will have a sister to grow up with. If you are pregnant and are interested give me a call at 678-388-9605. Or you can call if you just need to talk.
