no a stillborn doesnt have a heartbeat it means that the baby died inside therefore theres no heartbeat..yes the doc would know if he doesnt get a heartbeat he'll do a sonogram to confirm that the baby is not alive also w/blood test to count the hcg levels

No the stillborn does not have a heart beat. I was 8 1/2 months pregnant when I found out my baby was dead.
