Hi I don't think you have any reason to be worried she prolly just wants to make sure there is no infection..my discharge has always been a little yellow but there is no smell or itchy feeling and everything so far has been going fine...try not to worry as long as there is no bad smell or your not itchy I am sure your fine...

I agree... I wouldn't worry too much. Let ur dr check it out but its perfectly normal for discharge to be yellow.

Just because good things happen in threes, I am replying along with these other two ladies. I think it's probably normal. You have no idea of the changes (physical and psycological) that your body is going to undergo in the next 9 months or more. When I was pregnant, my discharge took on a yellow tinge, and it became thicker. Have your provider check on it just to be safe, but don't worry. If you haven't engaged in high-risk activity for STD's, and follow good hygeine, you probably don't have anything to worry about. Talk to your midwife about Streptococcus group B, though. Sometimes yellow discharge is a symptom, and is not accompanied by other symptoms such as itchy, pain, etc. Make sure you ask as many questions as possible.
