If my due date is December 20th, when did I conceive? And how much could it be off? Ive already been to the doctor several times & he said it was probably like March 28th, however, im afraid to ask too many questions like that to him, so how many days off could he be?
Some of it depends on the length of your cycle. Also, sperm will live inside of you for three days, so it could have been up to three days before that. If you had s_x with more than one person around the time of conception, the only way you'll know for sure is a dna test after your baby is born.
well i'm about 95% sure of who the father is......but there is still this chance ya kno....it's actually 3 weeks earlier than my doctor claims me to be---so I was more wondering, I suppose, if that could be possible?
the easiest way to determine your exact date you conceived is to go from the day you started your last period. and count in about 14 days and it is likely you conceived in that 2 weeks. I do not think that the Dr is off by 3 weeks. as long as you had your period in March you got pregnant during the next 14 or so days. Sperm can only live for 4 or 5 days max. and your egg lives only 24 hours max and you ovulate around 14 days past the first day of your period. I hope this helps.
Thanks guys...im hoping the doctor isnt off by this much either. The bad part is I cant even remember when my last period was--like when I found out I was pregnant (at 5 weeks) I couldnt even remember then. But by doctor's calculations from ultra sound & measurements im guessing/hopeful that he wont be wayy off ;/
