My last period was January 7th. I should've started February 3rd. It's now March 3rd. I've never been late before, ever. All of my HPTs (about 20 total) have been negative, and a negative blood test. I don't really have morning sickness, but I am a tiny bit queasy throughout the day, all day, every day for the last 4 weeks. My br___ts are tender, and I am extremely fatigued. I have a feeling deep in my gut that I can not shake, that tells me I'm pregnant. I bought some over the counter prenatals, and cut my nicotine intake in half. I scheduled an appointment with my OB/GYN, but it's not until April 29th. If I'm correct, I will be 16 weeks pregnant by then... I have read several stories of women who don't produce HCG until 8-20 weeks, and one case where the woman is currently 8 months pregnant, and still no HCG... I'm just wondering if this is more common than people think, and what are the realistic chances of me being pregnant, and showing no HCG??

Evidently you are s_xually active and had s_xual exposure around Jan 20th or you would not be considering this possibility. Yes, we sometimes hear of women who did not get a positive test until way late, but most of those stories are second hand. I wonder if you can get the OBGYN to set you up with an ultrasound appointment before your April 29th date. GL!

Yes, my husband was off the 20, 21, and 22 that week... s0.. every day. We have not been actively trying, nor avoiding pregnancy... but we do use the withdrawal method ( I am fully aware that this not an accurate form of birth control.) Since my last post I have started having some morning sickness, and I noticed this morning a dark blue vein on the top of my left b___st that leads to my nipple, and my b___bs hurt now, they are not just tender to the touch, but they hurt. I haven't taken another pregnancy test, and I don't think there's a very good possibility of getting in to see the doctor sooner, I have asked them to call me if there are any cancelations though.
Thanks for your help!

Depending on your medical I surance, , if you are having all these symptoms go to the ER and tell them you are pregnant and are spotting and they will have to do a sonogram right then to verify the baby is OK. This is the only way that I can think that you can confirm this pregnancy prior to your late April Dr appt. Good luck and congrats if this is what you two want. Oh and best of all take your husband with you if possible to the ER so he too can be there for the first picture of your baby or be there to hold your hand if there is no baby present.

I really did begin spotting day before yesterday. Yesterday I started bleeding very heavily, and having almost unbearable cramps. This is not like a regular period... There are no clots, only liquid, and it is s0 much heavier than usual, which I guess could be expected after 2.5 months with no bleeding.. IDK, this has never happened to me before. I'm not really sure what's going on. I did get my appt. moved up to April 5th, so I suppose I will find out something then.
Thanks for the advice!

No good answer, except that your doc needs to know. Is there some kind of cyst that will do this? Are the clots yet to come - an attempt at pregnancy that is only now being ended? Please come back and let us know how it all turns out.

Bleeding has stopped, so this definitely was not a regular period. If I was pregnant I would be 11 weeks gone, already. I figure if it was a miscarriage then I would have at least pa__sed clots and tissue, right? I have decided to try hard not to worry, and accept whatever the doctor tells me.
I will be sure to update when I find out. Thank you.
