for years my period has been on the 28 cycle. my expected period would be the 25 of this month, i got it two days earlier this time. why is that?

You are lucky to have such a predictable cycle. This is probably just a minor irregularity. The only other possibility is that it is delayed implantation spotting - if it turns out much lighter than usual and you have been s_xually active, a pregnancy test a week from now would be a good move. GL!
