What Is The Increased Risk With Fibroids

I lost my first pregnancy at about 6 weeks. The resulting ultrasound showed a 6cm firboid at the top of my uterus (making my uterus the size of a 12 week pregnancy), not blocking the fallopian tubes. My doctor says there is an increased risk of early or late miscarriage with subsequent pregnancies and has suggested either Lupron to shrink it or surgery to remove. What I don't know is the percentages involved in this increased risk and if I should try again without treatment to the fibroid.
