18 Days Late, Negative Blood Test And Hpt

49 days since the first day of my last period. I am never late! Have had cramping, some morning nausea, headaches, etc.. 4 negative HPT. 1 negative blood test... so confused! Read multiple forums of people saying the results were wrong, anyone experience something similar and end up actually being pregnant?? Should i ask for an ultrasound??

The chance of this being pregnancy are pretty slim. Why not wait to see if your next period sorts things out. An ultrasound would be the next step to see if you have an ovarian cyst.

I'm sorry you are going through this confusing situation. I'm in the same boat.
Only difference is I had a positive hpt 5 days before my expected period and then had light spotting/bleeding of brown blood for two days. Went to the OB who said my cervix was closed but urine test was negative so they took blood, they called a few days later to say that was negative too but I still haven't started and am now 17 days past my expected period. Their office says to wait until my next missed cycle but the wait is killing me. I'm hosting a huge family gathering this coming Saturday, with 35+ people, its been in the works for nearly 6 months and everyone will question why I'm not drinking. I don't want people to think I'm pregnant if I'm not and I don't want everyone knowing my business but it will travel like wild fire the first time I decline a drink. The anxiety is killing me.
