dear who knows, i don't think you can ovulate and be pregnant but i am not a dr so i could be wrong. but have you ever tried a ovulation kit? is your cm very stretchy? that is how you can tell you are ovulating. i thought i ovulated b/c i had cm but it wasn't stretchy but i think i actually ovulated 2 weeks after that. we'll see. i went for follow up blood work today to check my hcg leves. i won't know until monday if they are doubling! it will be a long weekend.

Lori, I only had one little bit of the stretchy egg white like stuff, but mine is kinda spread out through a week. My nipples are starting to change color back to normal. My b___sts hurt but they always do from ovulation until I get my period. I don't know if I lost a baby or what.

I tested positive on another hpt today. That makes two. I'm going to make a doctor's appointment tomorrow. I guess I'll see then.

Congratulations! Sounds like a winner! Do let us know how it goes at the doc. Demand a blood test!!! Take in your hpt's to show them and even take one in and do it there. (That's what I did).

I (like most of you posting) am pretty sure I'm pregnant. The stomach is now starting to expand and roudn out and it seems to be exactly where I should be at the time. (Just starting to show) my husband has noticed it as well. I took 1 hpt today and I'm pretty sure (90%) it was neg. Although it was not first morning urine (I had peed like 5 or 6 hours before hand) and I had drinken some gatorade fairly soon before hand (1 hour) and I had to pretty much force myself to pee. I'm going to take another hpt in the morning this time and see what happens.

Sally, test in morning Hgc level can be diluted by drinking in early pregnancy. you should test early morning or wait at least 4 hour before urinating then take test.

The important thing to remember is that as long as your quants are doubling every 48 hours allshould be good. That is what counts.

Oh, I am so frustrated! I think I bought a cheap kindof hpt and Im only (once again) partially sure that the results were neg. At one point they looked positive, then by the end of the 3 mins. it looked neg! I'm just frustrated right now, I waited until the morning and now (once again) I think it was a neg. I would be 11 weeks at this point, so the chances of me getting a false neg. I'm not quiet sure of. My stomach is still looking barely pregnant so husband is not convinced that I'm not.....he says that we should give it another week and see what happens with my rounding out tummy. Oi vey, do you guys have anything to say on this topic? (BTW the brand I used was Accuclear)

'First Response' and 'Answer' brands have been most sensitive for me. Are you doing the test while urinating or in a cup? Sometimes when we think we're urinating on the tip, we might be missing the target. Try urinating in a cup, then dip the test strip for however long it says to. Best of luck and let us know.

No I haven't been using a cup :/ I feel kindof silly. Well, it'll be off to the store again probably Monday (fun fun...) to try again.

LOL Yes, I suppose it is a bit silly, but I'm so clumsy that the cup works best. At the pharmacy they even have a hpt that IS a cup... happy testing!

We had similar experience. We took test at home using E.P.T kit and got positive result. Drank couple of cups of water and went to hospital and gave urine for test. Result from hospital came as negative and the advise nurse told that hospital test is more accurate. We felt very bad. We bought one more E.P.T kit and tested again and got positive again. We called hospital again & told them about this. This time another advice nurse told us that home based tests are more accurate than hospital's and hospital test is more sensitve, she went ahead and gave a prenatal appointment for us. She also told that she has 20 years of experience and seen many many cases like this. We told her that we will be comfortable if we here from the hospital that I am pregnant, she suggested to come to hospital early in the morning, before taking any fluids, for accurate results. Next day we went to hospital early in the morning and gave urine. Guess what, we got POSITIVE result from hospital also.
