We had similar experience. We took test at home using E.P.T kit and got positive result. Drank couple of cups of water and went to hospital and gave urine for test. Result from hospital came as negative and the advise nurse told that hospital test is more accurate. We felt very bad. We bought one more E.P.T kit and tested again and got positive again. We called hospital again & told them about this. This time another advice nurse told us that home based tests are more accurate than hospital's and hospital test is more sensitve, she went ahead and gave a prenatal appointment for us. She also told that she has 20 years of experience and seen many many cases like this. We told her that we will be comfortable if we here from the hospital that I am pregnant, she suggested to come to hospital early in the morning, before taking any fluids, for accurate results. Next day we went to hospital early in the morning and gave urine. Guess what, we got POSITIVE result from hospital also.

May. That is want I afraid might happen to me. I took the test three times and all postive but I don't want to go to the dr. and get a negative. I will be so emba__sed.

hi, the doctor told me that home pregnancy tests are sometime MORE accurate than the doctors ones so Id say you were pregnant. Try clear blue digital - that tells you one way or the other. Good luck

Wow I thought I was alone!!I am in the same boat as some of you--My last regular period ws Oct 17th--lasted 5 days like usual...My Boyfriend and I had s_x on the 28th day of Oct(My chances of becomming pregnet on this day was low)--Anyways the Condom broke---My next period was suppose to start around the 15th to the 22nd of Nov----I had all the signs on the 15th that is was going to start,sore brests,cramping...But it didn't start...So i kinda was getting worried..as the days went by in Nov the c___ps were still there,and my brests were getting more sore...Finally at the end of the Nov month--I started seeing sign's...A pinkish color everytime i would go to the bathroom and wipe((i am thinking this is great,im not prego!!))So this pink color contuined for 3 or 4 day's which is really weird because i am always regular...On the 30th of Nov It was heavier and more of a reddish color,..Just like a regular period now....But i noticed i have been having aot of blood clots.... My period lasted right thru until nowDec 12th(today)...But the last 6 day's The redish color is gone and it turned into a brownish color....I took a HPT today and it's positive.........Is it possible that i miscarried and i still have the hormone in my blood to fool the test and think im pregnet?

Shelly, You can still bleed (as I have been for 2 weeks) and be pregnant. You can even pa__s small clots, too. You may want to see a dr either way. If you are pregnant, you need to know asap and if you were pregnant but aren't anymore, you may need a d & c to reduce the risk of infection. My best to you, sister. We've all been where you are.

Well good news in a way kind of---The brownish color have stopped today----Wow finally done at last--Seems like i have been wearing a pad forever!!!--But i still have cramps/mild pain in my ovaries....And the Prego test was positive---God im lost--I have a doctor's appointment on Wed the 14th,,,I hope it's Neg.I am a little different then you guy's--I am 32 years old,Have a 12 year old and a full time job..Not a good time for this to happen--:(

Jennifer... congratulations! And, Shelley, I know it's hard to wait for the doc, but I'm so glad you made an appt. I know this seems far fetched, but could it be possible that it was twins and one has miscarried? It's happened before! If you did indeed miscarry, it could be that your urine test is still showing up positive b/c those hpt's are so sensitive. A blood test will show if you had a miscarriage or are pregnant. About the timing... I'm 39, have two daughters, 18 and 16. Babies are always a blessing. This must be very scary for you, but if you are pregnant, stay on this board and you'll have friendly encouragment to help you through. Hang in there.

Onr more thing, Shelley... make sure to tell the doc about your ovarian pain. An eptopic pregnancy (implantation in an ovary, tube or cervix) calls for immediate medical attention.

Thanks everyone---All the help i can get here--I will take it all.....I have decided to take the day off of work and go christmas shopping,something to get my mind of off my doctor's appointment tomorrow...oh and p.s....My boyfriend that i am with,i was with him going on 4 years now and he is"Tickled Pink" about this,,,,He has been talking about us having a baby for the past 9 months.....I guess maybe he got his wish,I have to look on the bright side i know,,,,but this is just bad timming....................Anyways thanks again for all your kind word's and i will keep you all posted:-)

Hi, I am going through a similar situation and I feel your frustration. I have taken 3 Clear Blue Easy tests the read Pregnant each time. I haven't had a period in 2 months. I had a blood test with my doctor 2 weeks ago and it was negative. I had another one yesterday but don't know the results yet. At my visit to my doctor she told me that I didn't look pregnant upon her exam of me, and that most likely I had a false positive. 3 of them? I too feel sick, have some cramping and the symptoms. I think either my doctor is clueless or maybe something is wrong with me physically. It's really scary.

Doctors can be wrong. My doctor told me I was not pregnant when I told him about the home pregnancy tests, because his blood and urine tests were negative. I, too, was afraid there was something wrong with me. I begged for another blood test and it was positive. I have since dumped the guy. I think the doctor should at least do follow up (ultrasound or blood test) if you're getting a + at home. Hang in there. Let us know how it goes.

Eveyhr, How are things going for you? Have you found out anything new?

dana33, I was also told by a Dr. that I was not pregnant even with a positive blood test back in Early November, I switched clinics right away and I am happy with my new Dr. I am now 9 weeks. Good luck to you.

Shelly, My sister bled all the up to like 10 weeks and she just had a healthy baby girl on December 5th, 2005. Good luck to you.
