How soon can I take a home preg test and have it be accurate?

Home pregnancy tests divine the level of hCG, a hormone produced by pregnant women. Most pregnant women will have sufficient levels of hCG in their urine 12-15 days after ovulation. Taking a test first thing in the morning (first urination) is the most likely to produce accurate results.
