Okay ladies let me tell you my story. My last period was october 2nd, I was supposed to start again on the 30th. I couldn't shake the feeling that I was pregnant so I statred testing before my period was supposed to start, all negative, then my my period was 4 days late (still testing negative) Finally I started what I thought was my period but it was lighter then usual, it was heavy enogh to have to use a pad but not heavy enough to fill one even after a day (sorry TMI) it was bright red and lasted 5 days. I still wasn't able to shake the feeling that I was pregnant so today I took a test and it was positive!!!! So to all of you who think you must be going crazy I say that you know your bodies and you can have a period and still be pregnant!!! Hope this helps some of you a bit :o)

Hi all. I'm feeling crazy, too, and am not getting anywhere with my docs. Since mid July, I've been experiencing cla__sic pregnancy symptoms: fatique, nausea, dizziness, bloating, moodiness. I a__sumed it was bad PMS or stress, but took a few home tests just to be safe. They were all negative. The symptoms haven't abated, so I went in for a blood test on Oct 6 that came back negative. I have taken a few more home tests since then because I now have more symptoms like burping, higher than usual blood pressure, headaches, and I'm beginning to outgrow my cloathes. The doc thinks the symptoms are all psychosomatic, which is so difficult to accept. If I'm not pregnant, what's going on with my body? I got some sense of peace from reading your posts. I don't feel so crazy or alone--thank you for sharing!

Thanks Brightmoon, it sort of gives me hope. But the time I probaly can actualy get a positive result on the test to finaly know I am pregnant I'll be around two months. Its sort of innoying becuase I'm the type of person who likes to talk about things to my friends becuase it helps me and they all think I'm crazy. And my fiance, well even though his supportive he has no input about me being pregnant or not. Which drives me insane. I just want to find out for sure if I'm pregnant or not becuase the way my body is acting is soooooo off to what it should be. If I would trust my instincts, I would go with I'm pregnant becuase my body just seems to be screaming it right now. I just want some answers, so this site has been helpful so I dont go totaly nuts.

i had unprotected s_x on the 23rd of october. my last period was from october 7-11. my period was one day early, no cramping, and after the first day was only spotting for three days. i took a hpt on the 11th. i have sharp pains in my lower left abdomen, i've been fatigued, and nauseous and sensitive to smell. i have been less hungry and naseous everytime i eat. headaches. is it still possible that i am pregnant?

Carter, The doctors that you are seeing oughtt o be ashamed of themselves for saying the symptoms are psychosymatic!!!! Even if you are not pregnant, something else could be wrong. PLEASE, go get a second opinion to be on the safe side. There are many other medical problems that can present themselves with bloated stomachs. One of the worst, Ovarian Cancer. PLEASE get checked. Not meaning to scare you, but I didn't take IBS as a diagnosis. I went to another doctor to see if something else is up first. Good luck.

Well, if you had period October 7-11, You should have been ovulating between October 20-22 (depending). So I guess you could be pregnant. Also wondering, do you think you could have STD? Some will make you feel sick.

Thanks, Brightmoon. I am going in this week for my annual OBGYN check-up and hope it will provide a little more clarity on my situation. My husband and I are not trying to have a baby right now, so I don't think my mind (or my body for that matter) is playing tricks on me. Yet I can't understand why I "feel" pregnant. I'm not under "unusual strees" and my PMS has never included these symptoms. If I get a reasonable response from the doc, I'll pa__s it along. Best wishes to all.

no...std not probable. it was my bf of 2 1/2 years. the symptoms dont worry me but my period has always been normal. and ive always had cramping. now its light and no cramping is scaring me.

I just missed my period the other day. I took a pregnancy test the day before I was suppost to start and it came out negative. I think I could still be pregnant though. I still haven't started. My cycle was 33 last time and now It's already 34 days and still haven't started. I know coming off the pill can make your periods act funny, but I've been off the pill for three months. I usually get cramps 1 to 2 weeks before I start, but I haven't had any. I just have a little craming in my uterus and pressure in my abdomen. it doesn't hurt bad though. Anyhoo! I want to wait till I'm 45 days late, then take another test. Well it lands on ThanksGiving, so wish luck and tell me what u think?????

this is an interesting site because i am experiencing the same feelings as well and with a little more symptoms that have come. my story is i had a pomeroy tubal ligation 11 years ago after my daughter was born and never had a problem with my periods or anything until recently august to be exact. my last normal period was july 25th and lasted for five full days like usual. around august i started to feel really sick couldn't understand what was going on, but everytime i ate something i got real sick. took a hpt test came back neg, took in the middle of the day at work. went to the doctor because i wasn't feeling any better took another test urine test , neg. still feeling sick and nauseated. couldn't shake it at all. smells made me sick. i smoked cigarettes, never had a problem with them but everytime i smoked i got sick to my stomach felt like i was going to pa__s out. i kept going back to the doctor same thing well i don't know why you are feeling like this could be your hormones are out of whack. went back because now i have swollen brests w/greenish/blusish veins appearing and when i squeezed them colustrum came out. well why do you think its doing that she asks me. i don't know doctor you tell me you are the doctor. why do you think that you are still feeling sick like that i don't know doctor you tell me. in the meanwhile my period comes on it stays for 1 or 2 days sometimes spotting. went to another doctor he did a exam didn't tell me anything except your urine test came back neg. but i am still having all these symptoms, but now i sleep alot and now my appet_te has picked up i am not craving chicken gizzards and sweet potato pie and lemonade everyday and will drive to go and get it if i have to. she asked me if i had something going at home to make me want to be pregnant or something in other words its all in my mind. this month my period came on late and and stayed on for 3 days and i had more clots come out than i ever seen before. the doctor made me think that maybe it is all in my head, even my momma thinks that its all in my head because my tubes were tied and she doesn't think that maybe the grew back together or something but i don't know what to think anymore. i feel movement in my stomach. i feel tightness in my stomach. i felt something kick me in my left side and flutter across my stomach. they last doctor appt i had i told my doctor that and now they have scheduled me for a u/s. i am happy about that.(i know this long)but i just think people believe me when i say i feel that i am pregnant. i am a big girl(not that big), but i have been pregnant 4 times, my 2nd baby i had a miscarriage with. my 3rd pregnancy my period was on and the only way i believed i was pregnant was thru an u/s were i saw my daughter bouncing and kicking around inside. my u/s is on the 17th of nov. i prayed to God and asked him to show me a sign or something to let me know that i am not crazy and that i am really crazy and believe i had a phophetic dream telling me i was and that it was a little girl and in the dream i hugged this lady and told her thankyou and cried until i woke up. that was a powerful dream. i have read Gia posts and i agree with her nobody knows our bodies but us. pray and pray more and ask God to show you and guide you and give you the answers you need. don't give up ladies because i'm not.

Hi Ladies going for u/s in about an hour. I know i won't find anything out until the dr. calls me but I am so hoping to see alittle peanut growing inside me. Well I will let you know how things go. hang in there everyone.
