I was hoping someone could give me some advice. My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for a year and a half now. I get regular periods but always get spotting during the two weeks before my period starts. The doctor recently prescribed prometrium and this has helped alleviate the spotting on a day-to-day basis but I still getting red spotting during intercourse. This last cycle I was taking clomid in conjunction with an inter-uterine insemination (IUI). I just had the IUI a few days ago and my period isn't due for 2 weeks or so but I am still getting the spotting during intercourse. Does this mean I'm not pregnant? Help!

Hi there, this is a question sort of... The past month i had no period whats so ever, there very mixed up though well usually the 3rd week of the month. Well in April i was late so i took a test and it said negative, the next day i thought i was starting cause it was there, a very faint blood. could that be that i am prego. I am in a differnt situation and we were in no way trying to get pregnant, and i am unsure as to when i can calculate my first period.Would it be in march or april? thanks.

My husband and I have been ttc for some time now. I went to my gyn a few weeks ago for pain, cramps, and soreness in my lower stomach. He did a transv____al ultrasound to check for cysts but found nothing. He did a urine test and there was blood in my urine so he treated me with an antibiotic. We didn't talk about pregnancy at all. My last period was April 22. I had brown spotting for a day on May 27 and again yesterday June 2 (very little and some when my husband and I had s_x last night). What kind of cramping is an indication of pregnancy? I didn't even know it was a symptom! I have had slight nausea at night but it pa__ses within a few minutes, not anything bothersome. Anyone have any helpful info?

i have been having brown spotting for about 3 days now ... its very very light. after reading the questions and responses on this page i have determined that it could be a sign of early pregnancy ... but how early? my husband is in iraq and was home from april 13th until april 29th. i had my period for 5 days and it ended 3 days before he left, so on tues the 26th it was over ... we of course had s_x during my period and after until he left the 29th. is it possible i got pregnant during those last few days he was home?? and if so, is the brown spotting i am experiencing from implantation?? even when its been 5 weeks since i've had s_x?? thank you for all your responses ... i've been ttc for 5 years and this would be a dream come true for my husband and i - imagine the moment he calls me from iraq and i can tell him he's going to be a daddy!! i'm not getting my hopes up, but i guess i kinda am... :-)

hi i am in the same position, i had my last normal period on the 16th apr i had intercourse with my boyfriend on 2nd may and then on the 16th may i had light brown spotting for 2 days, and then on the 30th may i had heavy brown discharge for 2 days and light spotting for 2 days which brought me up to 3rd of june, i have had 3 neg tests, have had really sore b___sts feels as if they are bruised i have been really sleepy and eating unusual foods things i never eaten before and eating alot more and also i feel like i am getting thrush as i am really itchy and feels really wet down there all the time. someone help me am i pregnant? please some one help me with this question thanks.

I still have not started my period. My b___sts are so sore I can hardly get dressed. I have taken a preg.test, it was negative, just last night. If not preg., whats going on?????

A faint line means your pregnant if you had this line within the calculated time as on the instructions- within 5 minutes or so

Hi all. For those who have been irregular after stopping BCP, this happened to me last year. I was 2 or 3 weeks late the first month, then just a little irregular for a couple months after. I think it took me about 4 months to get on a regular cycle again. Now, I am just over 2 weeks late and have noticed a clear mucous mixed with very small brownish clots. I have taken 2 HPTs and both were negative. My husband just started a new job so we don't have insurance yet, thus, no Dr. appointment. Here's the thing though; I thought I might be pregnant after the BCP incident and wanted to get a BT but could not find anyone willing to give me one. I tried Planned Parenthood and several doctors; PP said they only had urine tests and the doctors just didn't seem interested. Hopefully this will change as I now have a GP that I go to regularly. After insurance anyway :) At any rate, I just wondered if anyone could tell me from experience whether the above might indicate pregnancy. My nipples have been sore but I can't see any swelling. I've had a few very brief moments of nausea, which is fairly unusual for me. I've been unusually tired for the last couple weeks, although I just came down with a cold, so that could be causing the tiredness. Overall, I have been unusually hungry, although hardly any appet_te for the last couple days. Again, I would most likely attribute that to this silly little cold. Thanks in advance! Hello, all!!! CONGRATS to everyone!! I have a question for you, my sister is 6 wekks pregnant with her 2nd, 1st she had a miscarriage in August last year, because of the darn hurricane here, but she is now having brown blood, and sever back pain and her Doctor can not fit her in until later in the week, if anyone has had anything like this please let me know, I can't watch her make herself sick worrying and crying in fear, I want to tell her it will be alright. Lats month I had my period for only three days and i usally have it for 5, and then me and my bf had an scare being unprotected and three days after I started having brown spotting and pink spotting, bad cramps, I really thought I was starting my period.. its been like 4 days of spotting, its not normal. I feel fine. BUt I dont know if I could be pregnant

Hey everyone I've had brown spotting for about 3 days now. my period isn't due for approx. another week. i was wondering if it's ovulation spotting does anyone know how long that type of spotting lasts for? just wondering incase its an infection and i need to go to drs. i don't think i'm preg. i've been having unprotected s_x around ovulation for the past cpl of months, and have been late for the past two months, but then my period still comes, however its pretty much lighter than usual. that's why i don't think im preg. goodluck to everyone wanting to get pregnant. i'm sorry for ur losses as well. my cousin lost her baby at 4 months

Lauz.... Any new info? I haven't had anymore brown spotting but I took my niece to the dentist office today and while I was in there I almost fainted. I got real light headed and sweaty and had to sit down to come back to my senses. However, my niece did have two teeth pulled and she was bleeding pretty bad but seeing blood has never bothered me before...? I had really bad cramping last night like period cramps but no period as of yet! I made an appointment with my gyn next Friday. I guess we'll see. Good Luck to all!

hiya wenmad.... i went to the docs and they sent me for a urine test i have just rang up to get my results and the woman said she cant tell me there was a note on the computer saying i have to see my doctor asap so i hope it's good news what do you reckon it could be that i am pregnant thats why they won't tell me on the phone. have you been to your doctor yet maybe you should go? have you had any symptoms for pregnancy.....

my husband and I are trying to concieve, I have had mood swings,frequent headaches, and feelings of nausea, sore b___sts, bloating, and extreme fatigue and low back pain, I usually have a 5 day long heavy period, I had my period light 1 day then it has spotted for about 2 to 3 days sometimes even nothing, nothing like it usually is, I am really wanting to know if it sounds like I am pregnant, I would really appreciate any advice anyone can give me that has been pregnant or has the same symptoms, I took a pregnancy test last week and it was negative, I really don't know, please help someone, I am so anxious to find out, thanks.

Hello to all & good luck on getting pregnant. I am not trying to get pregnant at all. My third child is just turning two in 4 days. My hubby had a "V" done two years ago. In Jan. I experienced some light spotting in the middle of my cycle on the 15th & 16th day. I never had any spotting before so I went to the Dr. had a pap and everything turned out normal. They told me that some women spot during ovulaion and that it could just start happening. I have had some light spotting each month continuing since then, however this month I have been spotting for 10days now. I am very tired (Like prgnancy tired) and I did take a home pg test which came up neg however I am not due to have my period until the 22nd. I do not have sore b___bs, no cramping or any other symptoms of anything and I don't feel pregnant (Nor do I want to be). I'm just very tired. Any ideas anyone?
