CD 36, 5 Days Late Faint Line

my wife has a 31 day cycle like clockwork and she is on day 36 with only pms symptoms, (self diagnosed) she seems more tired lately and is definitely experiencing some mood swings, which she naturally attributes to yours truly lol. She said she had some pre menstrual cramping a couple of weeks ago but it would have been too early as the first day of her last period was in sept 29th and her "pms cramping" was around the 22nd. We avoided entangling the lower beards from Oct 11- October 19 as we are so very aware of ovulation days now after having 3 beautiful children. So no period yet and the night before last we tested negative and the next morning a very faint tinge of pink was streaking across the test. Wouldn't have even noticed if I weren't convinced that she isn't getting a period so we took a clear lie digital yesterday morning and night to which both said not pregnant. Then this morning we tested again using the solar store test that showed the faint line two days ago and it's a little more prominent now and can definitely not be mistaken for an evap line. Thing is it showed negative at first and only showed it's joyful pinkness about an hour later. My wife insists she is still not pregnant due to a lack of previous pregnancy symptoms and says that since it said negative at first and only showed positive after sitting for a while she isn't worried. Any opinions, or advice? other than test again, yes I'm a guy but I feel like that one is a given.
