Hi All, I was on the depo for 3 three years and came off the depo on 20 December 2004. My periods have not come back yet, however i am experiencing pregnancy like symptons, but i think that is one of the side effects of coming of the depo. I was told you couldnt get pregnant until your periods come back. Can someone let me know whether this is true or not? Emma

I've been on the shot since September 04, and im always getting headaches, weight gain, cravings, morning sickness, always tired. took a test came negative, so whats wrong with me?

I took Depo for almost 7 years, with no side effects, my last shot was Oct 04 and for the past 3 weeks I have had cramping, bloating, backaches and sore b___sts on and off, my usual PMS symptoms that I used to get a day or 2 before I had a period. For the last week I've also been really tired, achy all over and don't have alot of energy and I'm not pregnant. I'm curious if others have had these types of symptoms after they quit getting the shot and if so how long they lasted?

I seem to be having a similar problem, I had a baby Nov 22,04, got my frist depo shot on Dec 9 04, I was supposed to go back Feb 24 but did not like the way the shot made me feel so I did not go back. I had s_x twice in Dec, the 18 and 31 to be exact, no more since then and it is March 9 05 now that I did not go back for my shot I am feeling like I may be pregnant, I feel that nauseus but hungry feeling like I did with all 3 of my children, but reading some of the responses I am finding that pregnancy like symptoms are normal, but could there be a chance I am prego, my husband did the "pull out" deal, but having 3 kids I am proof that doesn't work, but being on the shot, is it possble it did work. Please if anyone if this osunds like you let me know.

I was on depo from february 03 to march 04 and then in november 04 i had a period and it seemed pretty normal. well right after that period my husband and I started ttc and since then I havent had another period. I got sick an thought i was pregnant....but i have taken about 6 tests and they have all been negative. I haven't had any more periods and I dont feel sick anymore. could i be pregnant? should i go to the doctors or what? I dont know. I really want a period and if i was pregnant i would be about 17 weeks....what should have been happening? I think I should go to the doctor....any suggestions would be nice.

Hello, I was on Depo for 3 years and nine months after my last depo shot, I got pregnant and I did not conceive twins. While I was on Depo, I had my period just about the whole three years, but my hair did fall out but once I got off the shots my hair grew back!

I have been on Depro for three years. I think I might be pregnant. Will the results still show on a home pregnancy test

first shot, april 04 add 2 shots since during which had 2 lots of bleeding, stoped in jan 05, last bleed dec05, nothing since ..would luv another babe.. no doc told me this ..i'm feeling very bloated, very sore t_ts,morning sickness, cravings ..yet every test says no...still no bleeding ?// help

hello, i was on depo provera shot for about a year or so, and 2 1/2 months ago i got off of it, how long would it take me to get pregnant?

Honey Listen I've been off depo provera for 2 years. i just found out I was pregnant. After trying for 2 years. Just be patient. I know that sounds hard to do because I wasn't patient at all. Good luck!!!

I always knew it would take a while after getting off the shot to get pregnant, but never this long. We have been TTC for almost 2 years, now, (last shot was Sept. 02, and got regular pd back in Mar. 03) and every month we are disappointed. Thinking I may have to see the doc, now. Although, it is nice to know that I am for sure not the only one. As for depo its self -- if we weren't TTC, I'd go back on it in a heartbeat. No pd's, no PMS...though, I hear there is a new drug out now that lets you be slightly more regular. You still get a shot periodically but this shot allows your body to have a period once every few months. My only objection to not having a period is that I would think that the lining in your uterus could get extremely thick; couldn't be good for your body. Other than that...well, who wants a period??? hi i was on depo like 1yrs and i stop becose hair loss , i was suposse to go back on jan 07 for the shots . so i make s_x likejan05 , now we are on march , is that possible to be pregnant, one week i feel like not well thank help me or it normal???

I was on the depo shot for six years! I got married in june, Bought my house in september, stopped my needle in nonvember, (nov 6ish) Ovulated two weeks later, and I'm pregnant! It is possible.
