yes the doctor thinks that I am about 4 weeks, I am a week late for my period, all symptoms of prego...I took and equate test this morning and I got a horizontal line as well! What is up with that?

Was it a "faint" horizontal? Mine was faint. I know they say on peeonastick.com, that horizontal signifies it is defective and bring it back to store. But mine was faint horizontal, so I don't know. Are you gonna re-test? And when u say the doc thinks, did he/she test u? Hmm...Keep me posted, okay.

I had that test, nothing like that..just faint positives the Same with e.p.t +/-? take it back to the store.

I suspected that I am pregnant so I took that kind of pregnancy test. It said negative so I took second and third, fainty line but then disappeared. I became so sick, morning sickness kicked in and my body s changing. I know how pregnancy is like because I had 2 pregnancies so my husband is going off to get me the expensive pregnancy test. Equate is waste of money and it doesn't work right. I am concerned about this because I had ectopic last Feb and if it didn't tell me right, then who knows what's going on in my tummy.

I also had a faint horizontal with equate. I am 6 days late. But i also had a blood test done a little over a week ago b/c i miscarried 2monts ago. The bood test was negative. Did anyone have a horizontal line and was pregnant?

Equate is not a good test. It's not very sensitive...reads at 100 mlu. The dollar general dollar test (Baby test) reads at 25.

I had a faint line with this test also do you think that that means I am pregnant do you think I should retest

I have taken an equate before...the test always worked for me....It measures somewhere around 25

My wife took two tests one came out negative and one came out positive in the same day. So as a joke I took one of the tests and it came out positive. What the F.

i found a faint vertical line from equate test ,not sure is it positive or not

I had the same thing last night. Faint Positive. I don't feel pregnant but I am three days late with no signs of it coming? Let's hope!!

I am actually surfing the net now because of the same question. I tested and hopefully it is negative (I already have 4 and husband had vasectomy 4 years ago- but my neighbor got pregnant after her husband had his for 5 years.) I have a lot of symptoms - but probably just a messed up cycle more than anything. The equate test was negative- but then after a few minutes there was a faint horizontal line. I've always had accurate results with this brand. That was just kind of strange and made me wonder about the test itself.

both of mine from a 2-pak failed to produce even a control line....I know how to take the darn things so i know it wasnt user error...makes me question their quality

I was due for AF on 06/18, today I bought two pack of equate, the first one no nothing, not even in control window, like fox I know I did it right. So about an hour later I did the other one and there is a faint horizontal line through the result window and the control window......Should of spent the extra money and got a real test....

I took one of the dollar general tests and it came up with the second line across instead of up and down too. not sure what is up with that. i think it is that the test turned in the convaier belt and they just put the chenicals on it wrong. usualy any second line is a positive. but my problem is, MY TUBES ARE TIED!!!!!

In recent monthd equate has come out with a +/ - test and has always been accurate with me. Also it is one of the most sensitive 25 hcg and I recommend it to anyone who asks! I also know that peeonastick.com states the accuracy of this test as good and sensitive!
