Well, here I sit 2 28day cycles missed ( counting by an average 28 day cycle even though mine is only 25 days for the last 2 years) still with no answers . Feel preg. Another neg hpt this morning. There is no indication that AF is coming what so ever. I've gained 10lbs & 3 bra sizes . I'll probably be making an appt with my regular gyno since the last one I went to wasn't someone I'd ever went to before(& won't again!) he acted like I'm just some crazy lady who wishes I was preg. But I a__sure you, as a 42 year old mother of an autistic little 2.5 y/o I was NOT trying to get preg & was the last thing on my mind until I missed my last period. My husband & I use gel contraception only... Not that reliable I guess, so thats the only reason it is even a possibility. After I missed my 1st AF I got one neg, one pos

Cont... One neg hpt and a neg blood test at 3 weeks late. So, since I missed yet another cycle I'll make another dr appt. I will keep updating.

Well just to update. Had posted after AF on August 15th there was no sign of it in September but on October 15th it was back again as if nothing happened. Probably the stress of ttc has thrown my whole cycle off because i was always very regular before, 30-31 days. Now its November and same thing is happening again. Have been having cramps since 15th when AF was due but hasnt shown up yet. Trying not to make a big deal about it this time though although its hard. I did take a test 1 day before my periods were due as my b___bs had grown about a week or 10 days before and my boyfriend was sure i was prego but no luck. havent bothered to test again. dont want to make myself crazy

Another update...I missed my second cycle and scheduled a doctor's appt. but to see me reg dr it's a months wait! So I called and asked for an ultrasound to be done in the interim but he said he wants me to take another blood test, which I did, and again... It was a 2?!?! I'm do put out... I may or may not call for an ultrasound request again... But they act like theyre doing me some kind of favor even though my husband pays cash for all our services!!! Wth(eck)?! Isn't this they're job?!?! Anyway, may wait for my appt , if I don't get my AF by then it will be my 3rd missed cycle.

So with all these stories that I have read I am noticing something that is very similar with everyone. First of all, I am sick of these doc offices acting as if we (the women) don't know when something is different about our bodies. Like most of you (well about all of you) I too thought I was pregnant back in 2007. I started missing my periods so June 28 I went to see my gyno and he told me that I wasn't pregnant and that the reason I wasn't having a period was that I was overweight. So of course I tried to lose some weight to see what would happen. Anyway I quit thinking about it and moved on with life. On August 21 I had a really bad car accident on my way home. Although it didn't hurt me physically, aside from a little shoulder pain, it hurt me emotionally. However, the next day I went to the doctor to make sure my shoulder was alright. Before they could get me to the X-Ray room the nurse comes and tells me, "Sorry Ms. but you can't get an X-Ray because your pregnancy test came back positive." Of course I thought there was no way after what my gyno told me. So they did a blood test. After a few days they contacted me and I was indeed pregnant. The only thing is when they did the test it showed that I was 7 weeks pregnant. When I had my first sonogram a week later the test was off. I was 2 days off of 4 months. So my second pregnancy was a little different because I had a very light positive with that baby at about 2 months. But I did get a positive. So for all you ladies that have experienced all these negative tests. It is mostly best to listen what your body is saying to you. To all these doctors that think they are the only ones that know or believe that their tests are the only ones correct they need to get a clue because it is very obvious that these tests are very flawed. Unfortunately I am going through the same thing I did with the first child so at this point I am having to play the waiting game.

Update time! I called all over town and no one could get me in... Finally I called my GP & told them that no one would listen to me, do an exam nor an ultrasound & they got me in this afternoon... I got there & told him my 2 month saga and he seemed only mildly skeptical but LISTENED ... He felt my tummy & then tested for a bladder infection( which was neg of course) & said '"well, if if I want to know what's wrong I'll just have to take a look'"... So, did a pap then 'poked around' down there looking confused & said..." from what I am seeing, you're pregnant" ... The nurse said "do you want me to a pregnancy test?" ... He says " noooo, there coming back negative , no sense" and smiled. Then ordered an pelvic ultrasound for this coming monday (today is tues) ... So thank goodness! He's really just a kind man, I don't know why I didn't think of going there sooner! I'm really looking forward to Monday & I will continue to update (btw, this morning I still got a BFN and 2 full cycles missed!)

Bornlukky13, thank you so much for updating. I have been lurking on these types of sites for almost 3 weeks, and even though it is helpful to see all the people in the same boat, it is always nice to see what happens as well. I will be 3 weeks late as of tomorrow, and I had 1 faint postive and the rest BFN. I have been on the pill for about 3 years and had a bad month with remembering to take it. I was late with 3 pills, and then when I was supposed to get my period, I had a light pink spot when I peed and that was it. I feel like I am pregnant, but I also know that the mind is a powerful tool that can trick. My gyno instructed me to take my next set of pills, but I chose not to because I just can't believe that it is a good thing if I am pregnant, but I also know that they didn't really think that I was pregnant...they kind of laughed at me. I finally called my regular doctor and she ordered a blood test for today. I was so grateful that the nurse told me that if I got into the lab before 8am that I could get the results today as well. After reading all of the posts, I feel as though it is possible that I am pregnant, but I am not sure. My second son took forever to give me a BFP, so who knows. I will try to update as well. Well, as I expected, my blood test came back negative. I think that quitting my bc has seriously messed up my hormones and made my body a little wacky. I do wish for all of you to have the outcomes you hope for. Baby Dust for all of you TTC.

Moosheyb, have you had a physical exam? I've had 2 neg blood test, but upon physical exam doc says he believes me to be pregnant & finally ordered an ultrasound... Just a thought, unless you don't feel as though you're having symptoms still... Good luck! :)

I'm very nervous about my ultrasound tomorrow, terrified really considering the situation... They have to do an internal u/s because I have a seriously retroflexed uterus... Never had one before & afraid I'll have an unskilled tech ... I'm REALLY trying not to worry...

Bornlukky13, I do still have symptoms...namely exhaustion. I am tired literally all the time. I was planning on making a dr.'s appointment anyway, because I am thinking my thyroid could have been the cause of missing my period and the tiredness. I don't know...I am supposed to have AF this Thursday, but I really don't feel as though she's coming. I'll keep you posted...good luck with the u/s. No worries, it will be all right and you'll get to see your little one!! :)

Moosheyb, Yeah, probably a good idea... I had recently gotten my thyroid checked before this happened, that's the only reason it wasn't done again. But, probably always good to rule that out :)

Today is the day! Serious nerves! I'm really scared that even though the Dr said he believes I'm pregnant from the exam, that they're going to tell me I'm crazy or worse :\ I'll be updating as soon as I'm done!

Bornlukky13, thank you for posting updates. Hope all is going well with you! I am 36 my husband and I have been for 12 years to get pregnant. We were able to about 10 years ago but it ended in a miscarriage. It has been 42 days since my last AF. I have been very tired, hungry, among a few other things that I had when I was pregnant back then. The only difference is that I have taken 3 hpt all negative and went in and had a blood test done which is negative to. He checked to see if I was going into early menopause, thankful I am not. He also checked several other things and said all my hormone levels came back fine but never did say what my HCG level was so I’m a__suming it was normal. When I told my husband the test was negative his first response was “something is not right”. My mom and sister both had negative urine test, at six months they finally did a blood test on my mom and it was positive, my sister never had a blood test done they did an ultrasound and saw she was 6 months. I just have this feeling that I am but I know when you want something so bad your mind can make you think things too. So I don't know what to do. I guess I will wait a few more weeks and see if I get my AF. Hopeful I will know something before too long.

Still going crazy, I really wish I knew what was going on wh me. I am now going in 3town weeks late and still know sign of my AF. I am beginning to think my best friends are thinking I'm crazy. I know this is not my norm. I'm afraid that will try to give me something to make AF come without doing more test. Just wish I had answers. Sorry just needed to rant and rave since it seem I have no one to talk to about it.
