Heathe...hang in there. If you see movement, I'd say that's a 100% positive to me, I remember seeing that with my 2 other babies. Let's face it, no matter what doctors or tests say we know our bodies better than anyone else, and some symptoms cannot be explained by anyone else. I don't beleive in hysterical pregnancies unless you really wanted to be pregnant. In your case and mine it was unplanned, so how could it be in our minds???

Karina, my could not be planned because my DH had a Vasectomy 2 Years ago, so they did not do something right if I am Pregant, how far along do you think you are, I am 5 1/2 Months but not showing much yet, I mean I have a belly, but not big like some womens get, but my b___st are what have really grown.

Am I dreaming, I am exactly in the same situation. I am 37, 2 pregnancies, 1 miscarriage and last month just before my period was supposed to come I had very sore b___sts (never happened before not even for my previous pregnancies). All the tests I have done so far came up negative and I had two scans but it would obviously been too early (if my dates are right) and blood test showed I was not pregnant but I still feel pregnant. And now I feel sick every evening like I did with my previous two pregnanceis and like you karina, I don't want to be pregnant. Had two caesarians and the last one brought a few complications and my youngest is 18 months old, and just going through the nights. I have once again done a pregnancy test this morning and once again it shows negative but just like you I feel I am pregnant. I feel the flutter on the very top of my stomach. My partner can't understand why we would not see a baby on the scan if I am pregnant. I suppose, it was too early when they did it. Why am feeling so sick every night, so tired all the time I must be going mad. Just let me know where you are at? I am planning to go back to the doctors tomorrow, they probably going to think I am crasy, and desperate to have a baby...coming with psychological garbage..

Heathe....are you serious...your husband had a vasectomy too????I didn't want to say anything because it makes the whole thing even more crazy. Mine had one too...9 years ago. Wow, what are the chances??? I've tried so hard to get into ob/gyn's and finally just had to take a gyno appt with my ob/gyn in June because they wouldn't give me an ob appt because I wasn't testing positive. Today I got home there was a msg on my machine from my obgyn saying "How come you didn't show up for your appt today?" I phoned them and said -- what appt? They said "oh we got your doctors letter requesting an appt and you had one this afternoon." My GP forgot to tell me so I missed it. I had to get really mean with her and say you better get me in, I'm pregnant. She went to speak to the DR. and came back and said he'll try and fit you in we'll call you directly this time....Can you imagine, all this effort to get an ob appt, I had one all the time and the GP didn't call to tell me so I missed it? I'm not happy...they better call me back or I'll just go park my b___t at the office and camp out until they take me seriously. So crazy, I'm in Toronto (Canada) and we have "free" health care but you can't get anyone competent. If it wasn't for my husband and best friend who's been excellent I would just give up. But...I'm still hopeful that I'll get a confirmation. I'm just scared they won't find a heartbeat and then no one will beleive me. I won't go for another ultrasound until I'm 16-20 weeks, after the woman botched the other one at 8 weeks (I beleive). I'd be really happy to have another logical explanation for the symptoms and the movement (when lying down, after meals, after something sweet). This baby's on a schedule, 11-12am, 3-4pm, after dinner and lying down at night between 10:30-11:30. ....it's so frustrating....in the old days women didn't need a pee stick or a doctor to tell them when they were pregnant, they just knew. I'll probably have to wait until I'm 7 months and pop out (that's when I really show) for anyone to beleive it.

karina - April 25

Heathe...to answer your question I'm anywhere from 13-17 weeks, not really sure because my period Jan.24 was very light too. So...I probably won't know until I hit 7 months and "pop".

Aida...welcome to the "twilight zone" club...when was your last regular period? My ultrasound was done by an inexperienced (in Obstetrical) technician at 8 weeks, and I had an overfull bladder (which the other technicians with my other 2 babies always asked me to let some out because they couldn't see the baby properly even at 16 & 20 wks) so she didn't see anything after a 1 minute scan. It's soo tiny at 8 wks it takes an experienced OBS sonographer at least 20 minutes to get a decent image. Anyway, it's frustrating. What other symptoms do you have? Are you getting the cramping/pulling sensations? Any food aversions/cravings, change in taste? Leg cramps? Headaches? I have everything, but it's the b___st changes and movement that defy explanation of any other kind.

Aida - April 26

No, I've never had headaches and I am chicken mad again, blocked nose at night has always been one of my symptoms. My last period was I believe 20th February 2006 but even that I am not certain because I was focussed on my youngest son' s operation so I can remember when it started but not if it was different but I am certain of this though, that just before the following period on 18th March I felt the change in my b___sts, they were sore and nipples always hard (still are). Now I am always feeling nauseous and like before, it worsens later in the afternoon. I intend to make another appointment to the doctors and he certainly going to think I am mad. I live in a little village in the UK, and just like you in Canada, we do have free healthcare but more often than not, you are treated as it everything will pa__s. Their favourite saying is 'let it run its course', so in this case as they cannot get a clear view on your problem, the easiest way to treat you is to let it run its course and see what happens. I am not too happy about that situation. Where I come from you pay for part of the service but there is no waiting lists and you get the see the specialist without having to be referred by your GP. Good luck with your appointment !!!

Karina, It looks like we are in the same boat, isn't that funny, I didn't want to say anything about my Husbands Vasectomy, because I thought people would really think I was crazy, but now I know that someone else is going through the same thing as me, You know I could see if I wanted a Baby, but the thought never even crossed my mind, of course the doctors think it is my head, well it is not, god my b___st are the biggest change for me they just won't go down, and they tested me for everything else, so what is it. I know but they just look at me like I am crazy. Keep me informed, and I will you too.

Ok girls, at least we're in it together....I keep hoping maybe there's some stress-related muscle spasms that mimic fetal movement and my stomach is bigger because I've eaten more over the past 3 months...I keep talking myself out of it and saying to myself..."today I'm not going to be pregnant and I'm not going to think about it." and then I get more kicks and stretching, etc. My b___bs have gotten bigger too, but it's the Montgomery's tubercules that tipped me off... Anyway, let's keep each other updated. If I find another explanation I'll let you now and vice versa. My daughter is just getting into those lovely teen years and it's a real treat, having a baby now would be a disaster....need a bigger house, new car, new everything. It's like starting again. It's depressing....And the fact I don't know 100% I can't even start mentally preparing for it.

Heathe - April 26

Yeah I know, and I have even less time if I am pregnant, because if I am then I am 5 1/2 Months, so have 3 1/2 Months left before the Baby is Born. Pretty scary huh, I am also telling myself that there is no way that I am pregnant, but every time I eat especially sweets, my stomach moves, and it is not gas.

karina - April 26

Yup...me too...well all we can do is listen to our bodies...in the next month or two if your tummy gets bigger you'll have your answer (which you already know!)...What other symptoms do you have?? Do you ever get hip pains, or pains in your legs? I find I'm out of breath after walking for 1/2 hr, I've been doing the treadmill for an hour at a time for many years, now I can do it for half an hour, even going for a walk it's harder. When I lie down at night on my right side it feels uncomfortable, but on my left side I start burping away. And indigestion all the time, I've never had that before. Do you get any burning sensations in your b___bs?

karina - April 26

Heathe....where do you feels the movement? I've been feeling pokes and kicks so far..they started up high now they've move down lower in my stomach and last night when I was lying down it was more of the moving sensation, like a large object rolling around...do you get anything like that? If it wasn't for the fact that my last pregnancy was 10 years ago I'd remember these things...

maybeybaby - April 26

has anyone of you ladies felt like there were b___terflies in your belly? I've been experiencing some type of fluttering but it might just be gas but i always end up giggling cuz it tickles. Its never happened to me before. Ihope its not all in my head.

karina - April 26

Yup...b___terflies, pokes, kicks and now rolls.

Aida - April 26

Yep, I recognise the various symptoms, ...b___terflies, definately like someone is poking you from the inside or rolling around. What makes it worse for me is that with my second caesarian there were a few complications and I was gently told not to have more children...So I really need to know where I stand. I hate to be in this state of limbo; and the 'not knowing' is really killing me!!!

anon - April 26

In the same boat. Well I cannot lay on left side because it hurts if feels like something sharp is poking me. Just like Heathe my stomach is bulged on one side(my left) and sometimes I feel pain. My b___sts of larger with blue veins and l can squeezed colostrum. Feeling movement all over my stomach. Poking, kicking and etc. Strange thing is that when I try to sleep in a fetal position(which I love to do) I feel something heaviness in the v____a area. I have to stretch my legs out and roll on my back.
