I promised I would keep you posted, so here it is. After not getting a positive blood test, my Dr. suggested a sit out on pregnancy tests for a week and see what happens then. Yesterday, while shopping at Costco, I got a really sharp pain. I went into the bathroom and started painfully pa__sing clots. I called the Dr. and he sent me to the E.R. I spent the next 7 hrs having what they called an undetectable misscarriage. Basically, I was pregnant but the placenta never formed and so the HCG never presented itself. As soon as the ultr-sound showed that all of the stuff had cleared out of my uterus, I went home. So, if you know your body well enough that a missed period is a big concern to you, then tell your Dr. right away and push for an ultrasound. It will at least put your mind to ease, and if you have "tricked" yourself into thinking you are pregnant due to wishful thinking, it might convince you otherwise and you will probably start all on your own. You do know your body best, so push the issue if you have concerns. Good luck to you all, I hope you dreams come true.

i am late 1 week as of today as well...i donno what is happening ...and there is no way i can be pregnant...

I am going through the same thing. My period is 2 weeks late and I have taken 3 pregnancy tests after it was late and I went to Planning Parenthood and theirs came up negative as well, but I haven't got my period yet and I have no signs of my period coming up. The only thing I can think of is stress and excessive weight gain or loss. The writer of the book "What to Expect When Your Expecting" says that she took a couple of negative pregnancy tests and a negative blood test, but she found out like 6-7 weeks into her pregnancy that she was pregnant. I guess that sometimes it can take awhile to show up. Have any of you had any pregnancy symptoms?

I had the same problem when I was pregnant with my son! I took tests and even went to the dr office. They did an internal and still told me I was not pregnent. Turns out, I was! By the time the home tests came up positive, I was already 3 months along. The only sure way to tell is a vlood test at the drs office. My uterus was not large enought to tell and the home tests only work if you have X amount of HCG in your urine. Good luck!

I am currently finding myself in the same situation. I am 6-7 days late, following my menstrual cycle in June. I wasn't stressed out, usually if I'm late its day or 2 at the most. I'm not stressed out except anxious right now for my cycle to begin. I am experiencing fatigue, my sleeping has increased, my b___st are slightly tender, and it doesn't feel like it's time for my cycle to begin. I bought a EPT +/- test at one pharmacy the other day, took it in the afternoon, and got no result. Patiently waiting 2 minutes, 3, 4, 5 minutes & nothing. NO +, NO -, didn't help with the questioning too much. Went to a different pharmacy this evening bought of course another EPT +/- hpt. Well, after two minutes, it shows negative, but not with a solid line. The line was more like three thin lines across. I just want certainty.......guess that I will just try a new test in a few more days if still no period.

Finally got my AF today after being 13-14 days late..Went to the doc a few days ago - had a blood test - found out that morning neg. then later in the after severe cramping and there's AF.

I am 3 days late and I am VERY regular. I haven't had any signs of my p and am getting worried..stress has a lot to do with it.I haven't been eating properly and had many fights with my fiancee. I suggest you go to the doctor for 100% asurance but were you under a lot of stress lately and how was your diet? This has also a lot to do with your being late but check with the doctor to be sure.

I am also about a week late, but i have no pregnancy symptoms. This is my first month without taking the patector shot. While on the shot I was getting my period every 3 weeks, but now nothing. I took a clearblue test and it was negative. My husband and I want a baby, but the test was negative and yet no period. What could be wrong with me?

my period is also over a week late i have done 4 clear blue tests and all have come back negative so i went to the doctors who said to go back in a week with a sample they can test and if still negative they will do blood test to find out if i am or not my periods have always been regaular but when i was pregnant with my daughter i did about 5 test before i got a positive result so dont worry to much and if you are worried then i suggest you go and see your doctor good luck hope all goes well

I am on day 44 of my cycle with no indication of AF coming at all. I did a pregnancy test yesterday and it was negative. I've done about 4 already. The dr. said to wait 10 days to test again. *blah* I hate waiting. I feel pregnant. I wish there was a fool proof PT. But even the dr. said, that sometimes it can take up to being 6 weeks late before the PT will work. SO I guess I play the waiting game....

Sound like everyone has similar situations. I had an ectopic and was treated with methatrexate, they were able to save my overy and tube. My doctor told me to wait for 2 normal periods before trying again. My First was June 13 and now its been 6 weeks and 4 hpt and one blood test all saying negative. I feel tired and slightly nauseated but nothing over the top. Has anyone ever had this happen befoer or know of someone who has???

i am having some preg. symptoms my periods are now two weeks late all hpts were negative i was told to take a test every week untill either my periods come or the test comes back positive

I too am in the same boat. 1 week and 1 day late but got negative on the pregnancy tests. I want very much to be pregnant.
