Vanessa, my dr. told me that it can take up to 2wks late before your body has enough hcg to detect on the preg. test. Some women can take longer. We're all different. I know it's annoying, but you need to wait atleast 10 days before trying again. (that's what my dr. told me.) Not to keep wasting money on buying tests. only 1 test every 10 days. (myself, I still couldn't wait THAT long!!) Good luck!

Ok so today would be day 50. I had a "faint" positive test on friday and then I started to bleed late friday night. Today is Monday and last night the bleeding stopped. It wasn't as heavy as my normal periods. No where close. But it was quite pink at start and turned red. I am very confused now. Should I go see the doctor? Or wait a week? The test was quite faint, so I am not sure I want to go in and have them tell me negative. *confused*

heather, it's been 50 days and you haven't seen a doctor! go see a doctor!!! What is you are pregnant? Even if you're not, you should find out why you haven't gotten your perid for 50 days! did you take a HPT? Or blood test?

I TOO AM IN THE SAME BOAT I BLED FOR ONE DAY AND I AM GETTING NEGATIVE RESULTS. I USUALLY BLEED FOR THREE TO FOUR DAYS. I CALLED MY DOCTOR AND SHE SAID I MAR NOT BE PRODUCING ENOUGHT HGC LEVELS FOR THE HPT TO PICK IT UP. A BLOOD TEST IS MUCH MORE ACCURATE.

Lily: Yes. But I did have some bleeding friday night, sat and sunday. Still a little today. But this is nothing like a normal period. My stomach feels really wierd. I am going to call the clinic tommorrow and make an apt with my dr. I did a test today and it was negative as well. I hate to go to the dr. and have them just do a urine and say it's negative. I already know that.

I am 1 week and 4 days late and have been getting negative results on the home preg. tests. I want very much for me to be pregnant, I had been once and misscarried. Being able to read that I am not alone is making this alot easier. I know that there is a possability that I may not be pregnant but the hope is still there. thank you all.

im still the same 3 negatives 4 days late and still no af!!! its all getting a bit much for me now i just wish if i am pregnant could get a +++ result so i know and if not i wish my period would just bloody hurry up and come take care and bye for now xxx

I am also a week late. HPT are negative, I am very naceous. I called the Doc and they wont do a blood test till I am at least 2 weeks late. Sheesh

Ok so my AF is SOOO light I was getting excited that I might be pregnant. I started feeling sick and having pains in my stomach. I had them do a hcg level test and I had a big fat 0. :( So I am definately not pregnant. Now they are trying to figure out what IS wrong with me. My af is already pretty much gone. It wasn't heavy at all and stayed bright red. I am confused.

I'm having the same problem mine is 6 days late today and i did a test last night and it was negative. My periods have never been late. It's hard but i think we just need to be patient. i have been getting pains like i'm about to get a period for about 2 weeks on and off and usually when i get this pain i get a period within a few hours but i haven't. Can period pain and pregnancy symptoms be similar?

Chances could be A-you are pregnant and its just too early to tell. B-you didnt ovulate this month which causes a period not to arrive. Be patient I am in the same boat with you and I can speak for the rest of us I think we are all just waiting.

Well, I started this morning and I feel very grumpy! I wish I was pregnant, but atleast now I know for sure and can start all over again. Good Luck to all of you. You were all a good support for me, and I will continue to use this site for support.

Yup..same boat...over 1 week late. Normally pretty much regular. Feeling v tired, b___bies are swollen but not tender and have had 3 negative tests..one of them was at the doctor. She wants me to come back in 2 weeks time again to re-test so I guess I'll wait till then. We are not planning on kids right now(deffinately in the future) but I'm kind of thinking it would be nice if I was and nice if I wasnt! I was even thinking back to when I could have conceived and it all looks that there are fairly low probability chances of me being pregnant

Gina, did I understand you well... on the NOT ovulating, does that mean you won't get your af if you didn't ovulate ??

I think that the waiting part is the hardest, I hope that it turns out they way you all want it. I will put in my rx refill for clomid today and pray that I become pregnant this time around.
